"Come on, man, you're at your bachelor party, just have one drink," Waylon yelled in my ear over the loud music. "I'm good," I said, setting down my glass. "Bro?" Milo asked, looking at me. "I just got off the phone with Chloe. She said that Freya and June got into it. Get out of my seat so fast, is she okay?" I asked. "Yes," Milo replied. "Chloe asked if you couldn't say anything. She doesn't want to get in trouble with her boss, but she just thought you should know." I laughed. "Tell Chloe I like her after all." That's when it hit me. I knew exactly who I could use to get June out of my darling life.

"We haven't even met this guy yet, and you're telling us you're getting married?" my grandpa Roy said with a disappointed voice. "Y'all are the ones who don't want to come visit," I said with a sassy voice. "Don't talk to us like that," Grandma Lara warned me with eyes that told me when I was in trouble. "Sweetie, we just want what's best for you. We always have. What would your mom and dad think of this nonsense?" My eyes began to water. "Don't bring them into this."
I was raised by my grandparents until I went off to college. My mother, Luna, and father, Miles, died when I was 15 years old, sophomore year in high school. They got in a bad car accident. I know you're waiting for me to tell you who's responsible for this tragedy, but there's nobody to blame but the same DNA that runs through my veins - my father. My grandma had that worried look in her eyes, like I'm going to make the same mistakes as her daughter. But my mother taught me not to be anything like her, but better.Cooper and I have been dating for almost 5 years, and I made several attempts to get y'all to meet him, but y'all judged him based on his parents. So show up this one time for me, at least. "Sorry, but I'm afraid we can't do that," my grandpa Roy said, looking at my grandma Luna. She just looked down. "You taught me not to judge people and forgive everyone because I would want God to forgive me, but you're doing the very thing you told me not to do. I also taught you that bad company corrupts good character," grandpa Roy said, looking at me with a disdainful look.
Flashback End.My watery eyes looked into the toilet as Cooper held my hair. "How much did you drink?" he asked, wiping my mouth with a warm towel. "I don't remember. Maybe it's the birth control because I've never been this sick before," I replied. Cooper looked into my eyes, but I couldn't read what he was thinking. "I'll call my doctor and see if he can stop by. Get yourself cleaned up," he said, exiting the bathroom. I stepped into the shower, letting the water take over me.
"Just a hangover," Dr. Orion said as he took his hand off Freya's head. "Nothing else?" I asked him as he looked at me uncertainty. "When was your last period?" Dr. Orion asked Freya as she looked down. "I haven't had one since the abortion, and right after that, I got on birth control," she said, looking at me. "Did you have unprotected sex before you started your birth control?" Dr. Orion asked, looking at both of us. "We did, but we were careful. Well, she was," I said with a cold voice.
"Can you pee in a cup for me?" he asked her as she got up and took the clear cup with her. The way her legs shook told me how scared she was to know the answer. "What are the options for us?" I asked the doctor. "Well, considering she just had an abortion, another one wouldn't be good for her body or her mental health," he said. I felt the fire burning inside of me. "Here you go," Freya said, giving him the cup. "We have to give the lines time to come in, but I was telling Mr. Madden, considering you just had an abortion, another one wouldn't be good for you or your baby."She just looked up at me while Dr. Orion picked up the pregnancy test. "Congratulations," he said as I walked out of the room, busting through the doors. "Cooper!" Freya yelled my name with a cry in her voice. "Fuck!" I yelled, walking out of my mansion. I was this close to having her to myself, now I had to worry about a baby that could take her away from me for real. "Where are you going?" she said, trying to catch her breath. "I need space, Freya. Let me breathe," I yelled into her face as she slowly backed away from me.
"I'll go," she said, walking off. "Mr. Madden, have you been taking your medicine? Because right now, you're acting ridiculous," Dr. Orion said, looking at me. "See your fucking way out," I said, walking past him. "Where do you think you're going?" I asked Freya as she rolled her suitcase down the stairs.
