I say. "She hurt me, man," he says, hitting the table. "I was a fucking joke to her. I beat myself up for going out there and cheating, but her ass left me with no choice."
"Cooper, you know how I feel about people who play with my time. I want her gone."
"You don't mean that, Waylon," I say, trying to get through to him. I give the boys a nod to hold him down.
"I can't let you do this to yourself, Waylon," I say while injecting the shot into his arm. His body drifts away slowly.

"Enzo, make sure he gets home safe. What do I pay y'all for? Just because I'm gone doesn't mean the profit stops. I know we've been trying to keep our hands clean, but y'all should still know how to bring in the money without killing someone," Lucas I said his name loudly.
"What? That guy had it coming," Lucas said.
"Well, you're working in Milo's place now."

"Yeah? What happened to Milo?" some of the boys ask.
"He works at the office now. We all know this wasn't the job for him. It was our dad's idea. Get back to fucking work," I say while walking out of the warehouse.
I get into my car, not having to tell Miguel anything; it's our routine. I moved Sophia and my son, Caleb, closer to make it easier for me. I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy seeing him; he looked just like me. I wish I would have known about him sooner, but back then I was young and didn't care. I knew Sophia was pregnant, but she wasn't the first girl I got pregnant.

My dad usually made them get rid of it, but I guess she didn't listen. I'm actually kind of glad she didn't. That's why today I decided to tell Freya.
Miguel opens the car door, letting Caleb and his mother in. "Sophia, I know you said you wanted to meet her, but she might not be excited after I tell her."

I walk into the mansion looking for Freya.
"Hey baby, I'm in here!" she calls out from the kitchen.
"Hey darling," I say, pulling her into a kiss. "I have someone I need you to meet."
"We can talk about it later," Anna says, dismissing herself.
Cooper takes me into the dining room, where I see a little boy about six years old and a woman who seems to be his mother. Deep down in my heart, I knew what this was, but for some reason, I hoped it wasn't. That was until his mouth spoke it.
"I want you to meet my son," Cooper said.
My body naturally pulls away from his arms. Then I see Lara at the door, taking the little boy out of the room.
"I know this may be hard for you," the little boy's mother said.
"You had no idea how long?" I ask him, with tears in my eyes.
"Since after our honeymoon," he said.
"You had all this time to tell me, Cooper. Why don't you trust me?"
"Because you act like this," he yelled.
"You made me this way!" I yell back, feeling a sharp pain in my lower stomach. I look down to see my pants are wet.
"My water just broke. My fucking water just broke."
"Calm down, you're about to be nine months, so we should be good," Cooper says.
"This conversation is not over," I say, leaving the room to go change my clothes.

The sound of my baby's heartbeat fills the room.
"You're only three centimeters right now. If she doesn't come down any faster, I'm afraid you'll have to have surgery," Dr. Orion says while writing something down on his clipboard.
"I think that would be better for me," I say as my husband looks up from his phone.
"Are you not going to try?" Cooper asks.
"I know my body can't handle it."
"Do I have your permission?" Dr. Orion asks Cooper.
"Yes, if that's what's best for her."
"Get you a good night's rest; we have your surgery tomorrow morning," Dr. Orion said, walking out.
"Why are you crying?" I ask Freya, sitting on her queen hospital bed.
