Chapter 19

"Mommy! Daddy! Wake up, wake up, wake upppppp!!!" Aiden screamed while jumping on Nate and I. "What's so important buddy? I was sleeping" Nate chuckled. God I swear I fell for that voice of his. Especially right when he wakes up. "It's my birthday daddy!!" He smiled. "Oh boy, what are you, like 18?" Nate smirked "No!" Aiden giggled, "I'm eight, daddy" he smiled. "Ah well shit I was close" Nate chuckled. "Let's go have some breakfast? We have a big, big day today!" I said hopping up out of bed.

"Mama can we match today!" Annica yelled at me from her room. "I suppose we could" I smiled. "What do you wanna wear?" I asked as I walked into her room. "A black skirt with a white shirt" she said. I smiled, "you are just like mama" I said kissing her cheek. I changed her into the outfit she choosed. She looked so adorable. "Mommy will do your hair after she finishes get ready, okay?" I smiled. She nodded and sat on her bed. "Nathan!" I yelled. "Yes lil mama?" He said from our room. "Did you shower yet?" I asked walking into our room. "Well thats a stupid question, look up goof ball" he chuckled. I looked up and saw his dripping wet hair and a towel loosely around his waist. I laughed, "Well I'm known for stupid questions. Anyways, Annica wants to match with me today so you need to help me decide" I giggled. He shrugged and wrapped his arm around my waist. "She wants a black skirt and white shirt. Should I do my skater skirt or the one you like?" I asked. "Well shit you should know that answer" he chuckled. "Okay the one you like it is. And then a crop top and tank top?" I asked. "Crop top" he smirked. "Done" I smiled kissing his cheek. "Have you seen Aidens cake yet?" Nate asked me. I shook my head, "No. Why is it done?" I asked. He nodded. "Oh my god let me see!" I yelled. He grabbed his phone from his bed while I dug to find my clothes. "Here" he said showing me(it's the pic above). I looked at it, "Oh my god... I hope he likes it!" I smiled.

By now, people were slowly but surely showing up. "Hey sis" Ryan smiled at me. "RYAN!" I said hugging him. "Haha can't. Breathe." He squirmed. "Sorry. How ya be?" I said. "Good. Annica ignored me" he shrugged. "Holy shit really? She's a devil I swear" I hgiggled. "Mama!" Annica screamed. "Uncle John called you a bitc-" "ANNICA!" I yelled. "Do NOT and I mean DO NOT, repeat that word!" I scolded. She looked at me with those big, sad eyes of hers. "Whyyyyy?" She argued. "It is a very bad word and only to be used by grown ups" I said. "Swift no more potty mouth!" I yelled. His jaw dropped and chuckled a bit. "Okay is everyone here?!" I yelled changing the topic. I heard Nate say Yes so I started everyone with the food. We all got some food and I helped Annica with her plate while Nate helped Aiden. We sat at one of the tables set up in the living room. "You having fun baby?" I asked Aiden while I ate some of my salad. He nodded taking a bite from his sandwich. We ordered a bunch of small subs from Jersey Mikes since that's what Aiden wanted. Thirty minutes later, everyone was done eating and Aiden was bugging the shit out of me for cake. "Aiden everyone has to be done eating" I laughed. "Please mama?" He begged. "Aiden" Nate said. "Enough. We won't forget"Nate said.

"Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Aidennnnn, happy birthday to you!"we all sung. He smiled and sat for a second before blowing out the candles. I took them out and let Nate cut into it while I served everyone, Aiden being the first. "Here ya go birthday boy" I smiled kissing his head. He smiled and went to take a big bite but his face was pushed in it first, making me giggle to myself. I looked up and saw Gilinsky and John standing there laughing. "MAMA!" Aiden groaned. "It's okay bud, it's just for fun" I laughed wiping his face off and getting a new piece of cake for him. "Now don't smash my face in this one!" Aiden warned. I laughed and kept handing out cake. "Annica you want any?" I asked. She shrugged. "You want ice cream instead?" She shrugged. "Well how about I give you a little ice cream and some cake too?" She nodded. I finally was able to sit and eat some cake after a few minutes of serving. "Wow this cake is really good" I smiled. "Says the girl who doesn't like cake that much" Nate said. "I know, right! It is good though" I laughed with him.

"Okay Aiden, go around and give hugs and say thank you for all of these gifts," I said as he finished opening his presents...finally. "I can't believe he's 8" I mumbled. "Better believe it. In 8 more years, the boy will have the L's(license)." I heard Sammy say. "Oh my gosh Sammy stop it! Don't make me think of that!" I gasped hitting his arm. He chuckled, "I'm just sayin'. Anyways, I think he's enjoying his day. What about you?" He said. I nodded. "Other then when his face was shoved into perfectly good cake, yes" I laughed. Sam laughed, "That's probably true" he smiled pulling me into a hug. "Where's little miss sassy pants?" He asked me. "With her father I believe. And she is a little sassy lately, in sorry about that" I giggled. "Okay mommy I said thank you to everyone" Aiden said now standing in front of me. "Really?" I asked. He didn't say thank you to me. He nodded. "I never got one" I said with my hands on my hips. He held his arms up for me to pick him up. "Thank you mommy. For everything. My party, my presents, everything. I love you mama" he said. I smiled and kissed his forehead. "I love you more big guy. Stop growing up, you hear me? My little baby is growing way to fast" I giggled hugging him tighter. "Aye ma," Nate yelled. I laughed and turned around, "Whatchu looking at" I finished sarcastically. Sammy af right here. "Okay seriously. Did he say thank you?" He asked walking up with annica in his arms. I nodded, "Yep, he sure did" I smiled at him. "Good. Annica is being a little shit" he said, "Nate!" I yelled with a little laugh. "She bit me!" He laughed pointing to his shoulder, right next to his collar bone. "Holy shit she did" I laughed. "Annica, no biting! You aren't a dog" I said. She giggled. "No mama I a girl!" She said sliding out of Nates arms while I set Aiden down. "Uncle Sammmmmyy!" Annica yelled. "What is with her and yelling!" I said laughing. "Yes angel?" Sam smiled picking her up. "I loveeeee you" she giggled wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him. "Awe I love you too princess" he smiled at Nate and I. "She's nice to you but bites Nate. How sweet" I laughed. "I love daddy tooooo" she pouts. "You better!" Nate chuckled, seeming to be offended. "I doooooo!" She yelled latching onto his arm. He laughed and had her on his hip. He kissed her forehead and Aiden come running in. "Mommy can I play with some of my new things?" He asked. "Maybe once everyone is gone? I don't want you being rude while all these people came to see you okay? Maybe uncle Ryan will play football with you, Uncle John and Uncle JJ, maybe even uncle G" I smiled. He nodded.

Everybody was basically gone by about midnight with the exception of Sam, since he always stays. I didn't mind it. I carefully carried the sleeping birthday boy to his room, kissing his forehead as I covered him up. "Happy birthday, little one. Mama loves you." I whispered to him, as I walked back to Nate and Sam downstairs.
