Chapter 45

"Thanks for staying with them sam" I smiled at Sam. "No problem. She texted me and wanted me to come by and I couldn't pass it up. We talked about that boy she talks to" he said. "He's a good kid, Sam" Nate said. "I heard. She was on FaceTime with him" he laughed. "Aright I gotta go. See you guys soon" he smiled, leaving. I put the groceries away as Nate sat on his phone. "I'm going to bed babe" I said kissing his cheek. He smiled and nodded, "I'll be there in a few" he said licking his phone.

4 months later; Aidens wedding

"Mom will we be able to pick up Ethan? He can't get a ride here" Annica asked. "Yeah. His house on the way" she said. Annica and Ethan were now officially together. "Thanks" she smiled. "You look beautiful babe"Nate said kissing my cheek. "And you too angel" he said to Annica. "What about me daddy!" Ethan yelled from upstairs. "You look very handsome big guy" Nate chuckled. "Alright let's leave so we can get Ethan" I said heading to the car.
            "Hey Mr and Mrs Maloley" Ethan said getting in the car, "Annica, Ethan" he smiled, leaving a kiss on Annicas cheek. "Hey, what did I tell you about calling us that!" I chuckled. "Sorry, Nate and Ana" he laughed shyly. "Good afternoon, Ethan. How are you?" I asked. "I'm great. You guys?" He smiled. "We're good. Excited to see the oldest boy get married. Time flies. I remember being in the hospital in labor with him" I said, a tear slipping. "Yeah, time sure does fly" Ethan said. "I can't wait to see Aiden!" Annica screamed. "I miss having him around everyday" she giggled. "We all do. He made things....interesting" Nate chuckled. "You'll see what we mean by interesting" Annica told Ethan. He chuckled, "If he's any resemblance of you, I think I have a good idea" Ethan laughed. "WOW! Thanks Eth" she pouted. "Man I love this kid" Nate chuckled softly. We arrived at the place where the reception and ceremony were held. "I'm so excited" I smiled hopping out of the car. Annica climbed out, holding Ethan's hand. "Cmon big guy, I'll carry ya" I smiled at Ethan who was half asleep already. "You gotta wake up big guy, lots of dancing tonight" Annica smiled poking his cheeks. He giggled in my chest. We walked in and sat in our seats.

Reception; Annicas POV

"Come dance with meeeeee!" I smiled at Ethan, grabbing his hand. "Babe," he pouted. "Nope. Cmon" I giggled. He sighed but got up with me. We got to the dance floor and "Sorry" by Justin Bieber was one. I began singing to him and he smirked. "Actually yeah it is. It's too late to say sorry for bringing me to dance with. I can't dance for shit!" He laughed. "Shhhh, it's okay me either" I giggled. "Smile!" Mom said. We smiled at eachother and mom snapped the picture. "Cute, cute, cute! Now get both your brothers over here with you two for a picture" she said. I nodded and called Aiden over who was holding Ethan. "Take a picture with us" I smiled. He nodded and shook Ethan's hand. "Nice to meet you, man" Aiden said. "Same to you" Ethan smiled. We all got together and smiled for mom. "Okay, proceed" she smiled. "Aye bro, you mind? I want at least one dance with my sister" Aiden said to Ethan. "Nah bro, take her as long as you want. I'll dance with lil Ethan" he chuckled. I smiled and danced with Aiden, as our song came on. Wanted by Hunter Hayes. "You planned this, didn't you?" I smiled. "Maybe" he smiled. "I miss you" I laughed. "That house isn't the same without you" I giggled. "So the boy," he smirked at me. "Yeah, what about him" I smiled. "How long you known him?" He asked. "He was the kid from kindergarten" I laughed. "Oh damn, him? He changed. Like a lot" Aiden chuckled. "Yeah I know" I smiled. "Well if anything ever happens, and he needs his ass kicked, you call me. Got it?" He said looking at me in all seriousness. "Yes, mom, dad, uncle Sammy and Aiden" I laughed. "Damn we all said the same thing, didn't we?" He smiled at me. I nodded. "Well I won't keep you from him, have fun tonight." He smiled, kissing my cheek. "She's all yours dude" he said to Ethan. "And you, come with me" he chuckled, picking Ethan up. "Hi again" he smiled, kissing my cheek. "I see Ethan didn't bore you" I giggled. "Let's go sit. It's hot" I said. He nodded and we walked back to our table. He sat down first and i was on his knee. "Your chair is right there" he chuckled bouncing his knee up and down. "I know but your lap is more comfy" I smiled leaning back into him. He laughed and places his hands on my stomach. "I'm so glad you were able to come with us tonight" I said, looking up at him. "Me too. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else" he said kissing my forehead again.

Nates POV

It's 1am and we all finally were on our way home. "Dad Ethan's mom said that if you guys were okay with it, he could spend the night at our place since it's so late she doesn't want you to go through the trouble of dropping him off." Annica said. "Yeah that's fine. Your brother is crabby enough right now so yeah he can stay the night" I said. "I not crabby!" Ethan screamed. "Oh hell yeah you are. Straight to bed you go when we get home" I said back. "Nate just ignore him. He'll be asleep by the time we get home" Ana said. "Mommy!" Ethan whined. She ignored. He started to cry so Ana turned the radio up. "You're so mean" I chuckled, grabbing her hand. "Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do" she laughed. We pulled up the driveway, "Okay we're here" I said. All of the kids were asleep. "Ana," I whispered. She turned to me, pointing at the kids. "Oh god, we need a picture" she giggled, snapping a quick picture. She tapped on Annicas knee while I got Ethan out and carried him inside. "Baby, we're home" she told her. Annica groaned, stretching her arms upward, waking Ethan up in the process. "Cmon" she whispered. Ethan got out and we all walked inside.

Annica's POV

"Ethan, I have some sweatpants if you'd like some" dad said coming in my room. "Oh sir, it's fine I left my backpack here yesterday and I actually have a pair in here. Thanks though" Ethan said politely. Dad nodded, "Okay. Night guys" he smiled, shutting the door. "I'll sleep in my comfy chair if you want my bed" I said. "Don't be silly, I'll sleep on the chair" he chuckled. "E, I promise you can take my bed." I smiled kissing his cheek. "Nope. Get in your bed. I'll take your chair" he smiled pushing me onto my bed lightly. "fine. I'm too tired for this" I laughed getting up to kiss him. "Goodnight" he smiled. "Night" I said. I threw my Chicago Bulls blanket from dad at Ethan, "Sweet, thanks" he chuckled. I curled up on my bed, soon falling asleep.
