Chapter 37

"Trick or Treat!" The kids yelled. "Oh how cute! What do we have here. The scream, a tiger, and..... A butterfly?" The lady smiled. The kids, except Ethan, nodded. "Have a good Halloween kiddos!" She smiled after giving them candy and juice boxes. "alright a few more then we need to get back so you guys can go to grandmas for tonight" Nate said. I looked at him confused, "Mom said she's gonna take them for the night so we can go out" he smiled. I shrugged and switched Ethan to my other hip. Aiden ran with Annica to the next house while Nate and I walked holding hands and I carried Ethan. "You know what, I think we should go to Johns party tonight now that we don't got the k-" Nate started to say, but got cut off by Annica screaming and crying. "Go get her!" I panicked. "Daddy help me" she cried. Aiden came running behind her as she latched onto his legs. "That clown scared me! He wouldn't stop following me" she sobbed. "I pulled her away dad" Aiden said. "Good job, thank you. Let's get home so you guys can take baths or shower or whatever before going to grandmas house okay?" He suggested. They agreed and started walking to our street.

"Hey mom" I smiled as I stepped into her kitchen. "Hey sweetie, how are ya?" She smiled kissing my cheek. "I'm great, thanks" I said sitting on the counter. "Thanks again for taking them. I can keep Ethan if you'd like." I said. Nate glared at me. "No, no it's okay. You guys go have fun, you need it." I smiled and sighed lightly, brushing Ethan's hair back and placing a kiss to his forehead. "Alright well I think we should get going. We'll grab them tomorrow sometime, unless you have places to be." Nate said. Kami shrugged, "Your father and I are going to see Kaylan tomorrow so whenever you want to come and get them is okay with me" she said. I hopped off the counter, holding Nates hands. "Thanks again, ma" he said kissing her cheek. "No problem baby. Have a great night" she smiled back at him.
            "What do I wear?" I asked Nate. "Well, it technically is a costume party but you can wear whatever you want. Wearing nothing isn't an option though" he chuckled. "Damn, there goes my ideas" I giggled. I went to my side of the closet and picked out a black dress that hugged my curves in all the right ways. I was about to be every bit of basic this Halloween and be a black cat. "Damn babygirl" Nate said with an apparent smirk. "Can I help you?" I giggled. "In many ways yes, but we already have three children and in those many ways, another child would come about. You just look so damn gorgeous. As always" he smirked, kissing my forehead. Once we both were done getting ready, we left and made our way to Johns place. "Aye y'all made it! I didn't think you would because of the kids!" He said opening the door, I'm assuming half past drunk already. "Yeah well mom took them for the night. We wouldn't miss this for the world dude" Nate said walking in. "Hey babygirl!" I heard. I turned and saw Julianna and Lexi. "Oh my gosh, hey!" I smiled hugging both of them. "Just saying, Nate will have all eyes on you tonight to be sure no guy tries anything on you. Your hot!" Julianna smiled. "Thanks" I giggled. "Whatcha want to drink?" Lexi asked. "Whatever is good with me" I said. "Mama come here" Nate said waving me over. I nodded and made me way to him, feeling someone's hand on my ass on the way there. I spun around and saw an unfamiliar face. I quickly walked to Nate, "Yes?" I smiled as he wrapped his arms around me. "I want my girl by me, is that too much?" He smirked, placing his hand on my ass. I shook my head. He kissed my forehead lightly and walked with me under his arm. "Aye dude who's this?" Some guy asked. "Dylan this is my wife and baby mama" he smirked. "Damn dude! How many kids you got?" He asked. "Three" we smiled. Dylan nodded, "proud of you dude" he said patting his back. Nate smiled and pulled out his phone, showing him his lockscreen. It was of the kids from earlier today before trick or treating. "Wow, they're beautiful dude. And the lil guy has some pretty eyes" he smiled. "Yeah man he does. Thanks" we said. "Stas, how's my angel?" Sam asked, "Annica? She's good. She was upset about me going out tonight though. I think she wanted to have a mommy daughter night. But once she got to Kami and Monte's she forgot she was upset" I laughed. "I think once I propose to Julianna, I'm gonna see if she wants to have Annica as the flower girl" he smiled. "She'd love that" I smiled back. "What're we talking about?" Julianna asked. "Annica" he smiled. "She's so cute. God I love her" Julianna smiled. "She loves you guys too" Nate said.

It was now 1am and I had no idea where Nate was. He said he was going to get us drinks but that was like a half hour ago. "Just my luck" I mumbled, sighing to myself. "What's wrong, Stasia?" Sammy slurred. "I can't find Nathan and I want to go home!" I whined. He gave me a confused look, "I swear I just saw him" he said turning around. I followed his eyes and saw him a girl. I gasped and walked vastly toward him, grabbing his shirt and pulling him outside. "What the- Stas what's the matter?!" He groaned pulling my hands off of his shirt. "Your the problem" I groaned standing in front of his car. "I was looking for you for an hour Nate. A whole fucking hour. And Sammy comes along saying he just seen you and where do I find you? With some girl!" I said, fighting the tears. "Please do not cry" he said. "Why? Does it make you weak? Does it make me look weak? Does it make you look like a bad husband? Good. I hope it does." I said looking away from him. "What's that suppose to mean! Are you saying I'm the reason you always crying?" He said, raising his voice. At this point, people were watching us argue and I didn't like it. "Take me home" I huffed, wiping my eyes. "What? No! We're gonna figure this out" he said. "Yeah, we can do it at home. Take me home asshole!" I screamed. He looked down at his feet and sighed. "I love you Ana. I don't want to lose you again!" He cried. "Don't do this to me." I said looking at him. "Anastasia, I know I'm not perfect, nobody is, but please, I can't lose you or the kids. You're all I got" he sighed. "Let's just go home and sleep on it, okay" I said getting into his car. He nodded and started the car.

"Can I take you somewhere first?" He asked me. "As long as it doesn't take long I don't care" I said bluntly. He nodded and turned up the radio, taking me to where ever he was going. After driving for about ten minutes, we were in a familiar neighborhood. "Remember this place yet?" He asked. "The house I moved into when I came here......" I said as my jaw dropped. "And those steps?" He smiled pointing to the house next to my old one. "Gilinskys place...where you and I made out for the first time and Jack got grossed out" I smiled. "Good times" he laughed. "Very. I loved every second spent in my house and at Jacks with you guys" I sighed, thinking about the memories. "I remember when we found out we were having Aiden, how panicked you got when you realized we didn't have another room for him because every room had boxes still from moving" he giggled. "Shut up I was pregnant and scared" I laughed. "I'm glad it was you I ended up with for the rest of my life. If I wouldn't have met you or you didn't move here, is still be single, not married and probably clubbing everyday" Nate explained. "Well let me just tell you, I'm glad I got stuff with you too" I giggled kissing his cheek. "Am I forgiven yet?" He sighed lightly. "Yes baby you are. Let's go home, I'm tired" I said yawning. He smiled and nodded, starting the car back up again.
