Nate's POV

"Dad hurry!" Annica yelled. "I'm gonna be late to dance!" She said stomping her feet. "Okay first of all, lay off this attitude miss 14 year old. Your not like Ethan anymore" I said. "I know I'm sorry I just don't want to be late! Mom always has be there 10 minutes early." She said. "Yeah I know. But mom finally found herself a job again after many years off. We can only be happy for her now." I smiled walking out of the house with her behind me holding Ethan's hand. "When is Aiden coming to visit?" Ethan said. "Good question buddy. How bout we call him, huh?" I smirked. He cheered. I handed Annica my phone and had her dial it while it connected to the Bluetooth in my car.

A- hey dad!
N- hey bud! How's it going?
A- it's good. What's up?
N- well I'm in the car with Annica and Ethan and lil E has a question for you. Your on speaker so watch what you say
A- hey E, what's up big guy!
E- when are you comin to visit me!
A- hmm maybe I'll stop by this weekend after work. And guess who will be there for Christmas?! Does that sound okay?
E- yes! I miss you Aiden
N- we all do. It's crazy to think your 18 and moved out on your own, huh?
A- I miss you all too. And yeah, it's taking time to adjust to but living with Jace and Cassie is fun too. I gotta run though, I just got to work. I'll call later and let you know when I'll stop by. Love you guys!

"Annica text me when you need to get picked up okay? I'm going to get Ethan and I home and go shopping for dinner. Have fun" I said kissing her forehead as she got out. I waited until she got inside and drove off. My phone started ringing, which was in Ethan's hand. "Buddy can you tell who that is or no?" I asked looking in the rear view mirror. "It's mama" he said handing it to me. I answered.

N- hey babygirl
A- hey goofball. Whatcha up to?
N- just dropped off Annica at dance, talked to Aiden, and now going shopping with Ethan. You on break?
A- oh you talked to my baby! How is he?! And yeah I'm finally on break
N- he's doing good. He's gonna try and stop by after work this weekend and he said he will be here for Christmas
A- oh great! Well I just wanted to call and check on you guys. Am I on speaker?
N- yeah say hi to the munchkin
A- Ethan James, how's my little baby?
E- hi mommy! I'm good
A- that's wonderful baby, I'll see you later alright?
E- okay mama I love you
N- I love you baby don't work too hard
A- I'll be home at 5. I love you guys!

"Okay buddy lets go shop!" I smirked hopping out of the car and opening his door to help him out. He grabbed onto my hoodie pocket as we walked inside. I grabbed a cart and bent down to pick him up and put him in. "Daddy can I play games?" He asked, sticking out his bottom lip. "Of course" I smiled pinching his cheeks. He giggled and went right to the coloring game he downloaded. There is no denying he's mine and Ana's child. He acts just like his mom.

3 pm-

I was waiting outside the dance studio for Annica. "Daddy here she comes" Ethan pointed. I nodded and put my phone back in my pocket. "Hey sweetie" I smiled. She smiled back and hugged me. "I'm so tired and hungry and thirsty and ugh!" She sighed sitting on the curb. "Did you bring your Gatorade?" I asked. "No I forgot it. Can we get some from the gas station?" I nodded and helped her up. "Hold his hand please." I said to her. Ethan pulled his hand from hers and ran to me. "Ethan James hold your sisters hand please." I told him. "We are in a busy parking lot Ethan" she said picking him up. "Okay okay" he giggled. "Little faker" Annica laughed. "What are we having for dinner dad?" Annica asked me as I pulled into a parking space at the gas station. "Tacos. Now let's go get your Gatorade" I said.
"Is Aiden still dating Cass?" Annica asked. "Yes he is" I said with a smile while I cooked the taco meat. "I remember when me and Aiden fought so bad and he pushed me and scared me" she said. "But now, I miss having him around" sh sighed. "Age can do that sometimes. One day you guys could hate eachother but as you grew older you realized family was what you needed. I know Aiden really loves you and Ethan" I told her. She nodded and kept scrolling through her phone. "Daddy, come here" she said pulling Ethan on her lap. "Take a picture with us" she smiled. I smiled along with her, while Ethan made a silly face. She giggled, saving it. "I'm sending it to Aiden." She smiled. "He'll love it" I laughed.

"I'm home!" Ana yelled. Ethan screamed from upstairs, making me laugh. "Hi mommy" Annica smiled, hugging her. "Hi angel. How was your day with dad and the baby" she smiled. "Fun" she said. "Ethan James! Get that little butt of yours down here and hug me!" She yelled. Ethan screamed again, making us all laugh. "Three seconds and then I'm coming to get you!" She giggled counting down. "No no no! I coming!" He giggled, running to the stairs. "You best walk down those and not run" she told him. He smiled and walked down them, obeying her words. He stopped on the second to last step and held his arms up high. "I jump mama" he smiled widely. She held her arms out and caught him, hugging him tightly. He kissed her cheek, making me smile. "You little boy need to stop growing up. You make mommy feel old!" She giggled putting him down. She came behind me and wrapped her arms around my waist. "I'm so exhausted" she yawned. "Go chill on the couch with Ethan until dinner is done baby" I said kissing her cheek. She nodded and went into the living room with Ethan trailing behind her. "Mommy can we watch Frosty!" Ethan yelled. "Sure baby go get the dvd" she laughed. Ethan ran to the movie cabinet and searched for it. "Here you go" he said happily.

"Ana, Ethan come eat" I said sitting at the table. Ana came walking in carrying Ethan, sitting him in his chair then taking her seat. "It smells so good" she smiled licking her lips. "I bet you it tastes even better" I smirked. She put her plate together while Annica and I began eating. "Daddy help" Ethan pouted. "What do you say big guy" I smiled. "Pleaasseeee?" He said. I nodded and helped put his plate together. "These are amazing Nate" Ana sighed in joy. "Glad you like them" I replied happily. "Is Aiden coming by this weekend?" She asked. "He said he'd try to after work but nothing is conifirmed" I told her while I chewed what was in my mouth. She nodded lightly. "I miss my little boy" she giggled.

Saturday//://

"Mommy look who's here!" Ethan screamed. "Baby mama is busy cleaning ri- AIDEN!" I yelled stopping what I was doing. "Hey mom. Hey big guy" he smiled taking off his shoes. "My baby. How have you been giant?" I smiled. "I've been alright. What about you guys? Where's dad and Annica?" I asked as I picked up Ethan. I pointed upstairs, "Dads helping her with math homework" I said. "I'm gonna go surprise them" he told me. I nodded. He placed Ethan in a chair and tip toes up the steps. He snuck into Annicas room, "SURPRISE!" He yelled. I heard Annica scream loudly and I think I even heard crying. "I missed you so much" she sighed walking downstairs with him and Nate. "You know you can always come by, Annica. I missed you too" he smiled at her. "How about we watch some movies?" Nate smiled. "YES!" Ethan screamed. "Isn't uncle Sammy coming over?" Annica asked. "He said he was but nobody has heard from him. As if he heard us talking, the front door opened and in walked loud mouth himself. "Aye fam!" He yelled. "Hi uncle Sammy" Annica smiled hugging him tightly. "Angel you just keep getting prettier and prettier. Stop growing up!" He laughed. Annica took her seat next to Aiden while Sam kicked off his shoes. "AIDEN IS THAT YOU?" Sam said in shock. "Yeah, it's me" he laughed. "My god you got so big STOP ALL OF YOU" he laughed sitting with us. "Where's your wiiiiiiffffffeeeeee?" Nate smirked. "At home with a fever. She said hi though" he laughed. "Okay let's get this movie night started!" Annica said impatiently.
