"Every now and then I think you might want me to come show up at your door; But I'm just too afraid that Ill be wrong" -Selena Gomez

19th of December.

That was my mother's supposed wedding day. However, due to my accident, the wedding was postponed until next week.

The moment I set foot into my house the day i returned from the hospital, I felt the coldness in my mother's attitude. She absolutely refused to look me in the eye. Why, you may ask?

Apparently, I ruined her special day.

Because her wedding was more important than my injury. To be completely transparent, I couldn't care less about her wedding. I do know that she's my mother, but that woman lost all my respect when she agreed to marry that weird Italian knock-off. She, once again, sold herself like a prostitute to a man just to earn her daddy's approval.

Alright, I may have been a tad hard on her, but just look at it from my point of view. What could she possibly accomplish by this marriage other than grandpa's approval? All she will gain from this is more tears and misery, just like her life with my father. Not only that, but she will also have to deal with four stepchildren in her house.

Either way, she could do what she wants.

The only thing that will honestly get me through this wedding is having Sienna there. Even though she's older than me by like four years or something, she's quite immature for her age. Literally, her weird dating life would put Lorelei Gilmore's one to shame.

And thats a big thing y'all.

That girl is only twenty-one and she already had 17 boyfriends, 36 situationships, and she's still a virgin. Who the fuck is even a virgin nowadays?

Either way, she's still the sweetest person I've ever met. I love going on little picnics and painting with her. It puts me so much at ease. I only hope the rest of her family are as sweet as her.

Plus, life with sisters must be a blast, right? I've already experienced life with three of the grossest creatures on earth; having extra but hopefully more hygienic ones will probably be a piece of cake. Plus, I've only got to put up with them on holidays and breaks, then I'm off to my own world.

I turn around to the sound of the door handle twisting. Sienna stands before me. She looks gorgeous in her bridesmaid dress and her pearly heels standing on the luscious hotel carpet. Her hair is perfectly tied into a half ponytail.

"Hey babes, you ready for us to become one big fam or what?" she says, slowly eyeing my cast. Sienna is absolutely transparent, like she couldn't lie to save her life. The fact that she also spoke exactly like Gina Linetti didn't help me cut her any slack. I knew right away that she felt exactly how I felt at the moment. Her father is getting married, and she probably also knows it's solely for economic reasons, and not for this plague we call love.

"One big fam, yup. Definitely ready for that," I nod at her as she comes and hugs me tightly.

"I'm happy I get to be your elder sister," she says in a whisper. "Always wanted a little sis, you know. I'm the youngest after all."

"Same here, except I've always wanted a sister in general. Love my big brothers but they can get real gross sometimes."

"Can't relate over here, my-" Sienna got cut off as Edgar, my chauffeur, knocked on my door.

"Miss Sienna, your father is calling upon you," Edgar said.

I bid Sienna goodbye as I return to doing what I was previously doing before Sienna interrupted me. (Welp that was a tongue twister) A minute later, another knock interrupts me. I hear sloppy footsteps followed by Asher's voice.

"What's up? You need something, Ash?" I say without turning around from the mirror.

"Yeah, no. Just wanted to see how you were doing," he replied. "Your arm still hurting?"

"Spit it out, what's wrong? You seem to be going kinda hard on the rum downstairs."

"Alright, I need your help. I was making out with this girl downstairs and now I've messed up her makeup and hair, and she still has a wedding to get to, and she's threatening to kill me if I don't get her the stuff she needs to fix herself up," he says. "And I'm telling you right now that she's hella scary. Like straight-up terrifying. She's like another Rosa Diaz but with brown lipstick"

I turned around before I burst out laughing while Asher just stood there, lipstick stains all over his mouth and cheeks. Heck, he even had a kiss mark right there under his eye.

"Wren, no time for this bullshit. I'm telling you, that girl is terrifying. I need your best hair gel, perfume, and makeup products, pronto!" he says as he starts shuffling through the mini suitcase I brought along with me.

Man, this is going to be a fun night.
