Chapter 46
*Next Day*
Aria's POV:
My eyes fluttered awake. I roll over, putting my hand on the bed. My eyes shot open when I couldn't feel his body. I hear the door open.
"Its me," Jason said, carrying a tray. It had croissants, orange juice and butter of some kind. I was dunking my croissant in the butter and began eating.
"Oh, slow down. You're going to choke." He sat on the bed. I was still chewing.
"These are really good and I'm hungry," I stated matter-of-factly. He took a bite of my croissant.
I scoffed,
"You aren't going to ask?"
He took another bite,
"I spent money on this. Technically it's mine."
I laughed, completely forgetting I hadn't chewed my food all the way. I begin coughing. It stopped shortly afterwards. Jason is looking at me wide eyed.
"I'm okay." I say.
"Don't do that!" He hits the bed.
