Chapter 7
Aria's POV:
"Let's have the best night of our lives." Justin's voice rang through my ears. That was magic to my ears. It was as if those words cast a spell on me that I couldn't break. Before I knew it, he was pulling my arm through the streets of Paris without a care.
"Justin, what are-" I asked, but he stopped me by hailing a taxi. The yellow taxi was strange to see in France. Yellow taxis were usually an American-New York thing.
"Don't question it. Just let go and have fun." Justin stepped into the taxi. The driver asked us in broken English where we wanted to go. Justin answered in French. I didn't know he spoke it.
"Where did you learn French?" I questioned. He gave me a smile but no real answer. I'm not sure how long we drove but it couldn't have been long since we only took two turns.
"Where are we?" I ask him. I'm asking a lot of questions here. Should I stop? I don't want to annoy him.
ilo"The tower." He answered. I tilted my head and gave him are-you-kidding-me look. He nods but his gaze goes to the floor.
"Too cheesey?" He asks. I suddenly felt horrible. It's true though. It was cheesy! I shouldn't tell him the truth. It'll tear him apart.
"No, not cheesey at all. I love it!" I lie through my teeth. It's a lie to spare his feelings. He did this for me and I want to see him happy. It is sweet too.
"Good because I booked out this whole place, just for us." He admits. The guilt starts to eat away at me again. He booked this whole place for us!
"Just for us?" I ask for clarification. Maybe I misheard him.
"Yes, just for us. Sit down." He pulls out his chair for me. Very gentlemanly , I must admit, This is very sweet of him.
