Chapter 1
Aria's POV:
I'm in a make up chair; about to film the first scene of the biggest break of my career. I auditioned for Changes knowing I wouldn't get the part. It was a romance movie that required speaking French.
I didn't speak French. I took a online course the summer before. And I somehow got the part.
"We're done!" The make artist said, bringing me out of my thoughts.
"O-Oh, thank y-you." I stuttered, getting out of the chair. I just now realized how hot it was in France.
"Wow. You look good." Justin said. I smiled.
"You're going to do great." The male actor that would be playing my love interest, said.
"Thanks. Who are you?" I ask.
"Jason." He said.
"Hi, Jason." My neck and palms are suddenly sweating as much as a waterfall. His brown hair was as shiny as gold. I had no idea why he was wearing a sweatshirt with a yellow heart. "Why are you wearing a sweatshirt?"
"Because I want to and it's cold?" He looks puzzled by my question. The air felt a bit heavy.
"Are we ready to go?" The director said in a sing-song voice, waving her hands up and doing ballet twirls around the room. She stopped once she got to Jason.
"Yes, yes, we are." His back was facing me so I could see his neck tattoo. Wings never looked so good.
"Are you ready?" He asked facing me. I blinked now that I was back to reality. He took a step closer to me.
"Yes, yeah. I-I'm ready." I said shuddering. He raises his eyebrows.
"Are you cold?" He smirks at this question as I sigh in defeat. I nod at this realization and he gives me a jacket from the lost and found. It was a light beige and weight warm enough to stop me from shivering.
"Are you excited?" He questions as he sits in the nearest available chair. Thoughts are running through my mind as I try to figure out how to answer his question. I mean, I am excited but really nervous too. It's my first movie!
"Umm, yeah." My heart is beating out of my chest.
"Good, because I'm excited to have a beautiful girl on set." He walks away.
