Chapter 23
Aria's POV:
That was weird? That was weird, right? Why would he care about who I'm spending time with?
"Hey, you okay?" Justin snapped me out of my daydream.
"What? Oh." I shake my head, confused.
"You okay? You seemed out of it." He asked. I nod, not speaking. I suddenly felt dizzy. "Did you get any sleep last night?"
I shake my head,
"No." This time I didn't lie. He smirked.
"I had fun last night." His voice was low and raspy.
I giggled. Why was I giggling? I had no idea.
"I did too." That was the honest to goodness truth. I enjoyed spending time with my best friend.
"I'm glad we're friends." I blurted out. He was shocked but quickly contained it.
"I'm glad we're friends too." He said this slowly.
"Why are you talking- so-slow?" I ask. He bursts out laughing at this. I do the same. Jason comes up behind him. His eyebrows are narrow.
"We have to practice our lines." He commands. I open and close my mouth. He pulls me into his trailer.
