Chapter 25
Aria's POV:
This is ridiculous. Jason can't tell me who to hang out with outside of work hours.
"You almost fell asleep during our shoot today." He points out. I say nothing, knowing he's right.
"Aren't you going to say anything?" He questions. I take a deep breath.
You don't need to murder him.
"You're right. I won't fall asleep during work." I try very hard for the smile on my face to not seem fake.
"I may have not known you that long but I know how girls work." He says this confidently. I stand there and just stare at him.
"What?" I emphasize the t. He shows no reaction.
I keep staring at him. I don't know how long it's been but I can tell he's starting to get uncomfortable.
"I'm just saying I know y'all think!" He jumps in to defend himself.
"How do we think?" I ask.
"Don't make me say it." He starts whining.
"No, say it. With your chest." I command. He shifts uncomfortably but I'm not letting up.
"Girls like having attention so they talk to multiple dudes." He says. He realizes how stupid he sounds when the words exit his mouth. The vibe hangs in the air as I turn to walk away.
"I'm sorry!" He frantically trys to apologize but I ignore him.
