Chapter 49

Aria's POV:

I scan my surroundings. I don't recognize anything. The station is bustling with people. People start pushing me to get where they need to go.

I try to get through the crowd of people. I suddenly can't breathe. Then, I see stairs leading to the outside of the station. I b-line for the stairs and welcome the sweet relief of darkness.

I start walking. The buildings are brown, almost rustic but clearly have seen a thing or two. The street lights barely let me see the details.

A chill runs through my spine. I pull out my phone. The bright light almost blinded me. It was 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

The time reads one o'clock a.m. I put my phone back and I start walking once again. I need to clear my head. With no direction and no clue where I am, the best I can do is walk.

*Later*

I don't know how much time has passed but it dropped in temperature can give me a clear idea.

The thing I know I have to decide on. I can't lead them on. They deserve better than that. I don't know who to choose or if I should choose.

Jason is my co-star and my co-worker but Justin is my best friend.

I should get back to you the room before anyone starts the worry.

I look around and I don't recognize anything. The street is deserted. It's pitch black.

I pull out my phone. It's at twenty percent. I put in the hotel address. It reads, "20 miles." My heart drops as I bolt back to the train station. The last train left five minutes ago.
