Chapter Six

Warrick

The woman from last night's game one, the one Luke has eyes on even though he already told us that she's just his sister's best friend, but we can tell he likes the woman. I mean who wouldn't? She is beautiful even from afar, but now that she's standing right in front of me? God, she's a goddess. Beautiful brown eyes. Long, straight hair in the jet-black shade, A heart-shaped face with delicate features and a dusting of freckles across her cute nose. Her plump lips that really look so soft.

Who would not be attracted to her? I'll be lying if I said I'm not but, in my case, obviously my teammate likes her. And now she's going to be my neighbor. She's totally off-limits.

She shyly smiled to me, "Hello, I'm Yellow, your new neighbor I guess, and A.L is my best friend" she introduced herself

My daughter claps her hand in amazement "Wow, your name is Yellow like the color?" she asks

Yellow nods "It's actually a nickname my real name is Yolane Willow" her name is beautiful and her parents are witty to give her the nickname Yellow

"My real name is Aurora Soleil; it means arrival of sun and sun" my daughter says

"Wow you have a beautiful name, and you are so smart you must be your parents' sunshine" I wanted to interrupt and say that she is indeed my sunshine.

Rory's eye twinkled like she can't believe that Yellow guessed it "How did you know my dad call's me sunshine"

"Do you want a secret?" She asks Rory, she nods

Yellow crouch levels her ear and whispers to her ear and whispers something to my daughter.

"Really?!" Rory is amused

"Yes, it is. That's we have something in common you know" Yellow replied

Rory looked at me confused, "Dad, what is common mean?" she asks.

I glance at Yellow, I don't know what she tells Rory, then I turn my gaze back to my daughter "It means you two have the exact same thing sunshine, like you and her have the same pink bear or something else" I explained.

"Oh. Okay me and Miss Yellow have something the same!" she giggles

"That's right Rory! I like you now" She says the way she said those to Rory is rich I can tell she means it.

Rory giggled "I like you too Miss Yellow, but I had to go back inside our house. I'm watching Sleeping Beauty" she says and runs back to the house.

I feel apologetic that my daughter is very chatty. "Sorry about that, Rory is a little chatty. Warrick by the way"

"No, it's totally fine, nice to meet you. Uhm... I just going to unload my stuff"

Luke stopped her "Nope they are heavy let me and Warrick do it for you."

"Isn't it a little... too much?" her voice is hesitant.

I shake my head "No it's not Yellow" which is true I wanted to help her, we're going to be neighbors. Neighbors should be helping each other.

"Th-thank you"

"You're welcome" I say and help Luke with her things.

After helping Yellow unload her things from her car to her house, Luke stayed a little to my home and played with Rory while his sister was at Yellow's house. After an hour or more the siblings left.
