Warrick

I haven't seen Yellow since yesterday after our breakfast. Today I had to be at the stadium at seven-thirty in the morning for a meeting. I had to drop Rory to school and I didn't have time to stop at Yellow's house even just for a minute. I know she'll be watching tonight's game but I wanted to see her this morning but did not have a chance either. But I knew she was already up; she messages me a happy birthday. She was the second one to greet me, the first was my daughter of course.

When I went inside the stadium, they had a party popper. They greeted me with a happy birthday in chorus Jacob was holding the cake walking towards me. After that coach gathered us all together at the court first, we talked about the usual game plans for tonight's game and the other stuff. Before the coach let us go, he told us about the charity gala for kids who are sick. We have to attend well, not the rest of the team. Either the coach or the management will pick who they are going to send or we will volunteer to go.

I don't feel like attending this year. I would rather be at home with my girls. I know it's for a good cause. But I don't want to. Luke obviously had to attend Jagger, Jacob and Rowan will go with Luke. Then we start to warm up.

An hour left before the game starts mom and I are exchanging messages.

Mom: Me and Rory are on our way already.

Me: Where's dad?

Mom: His team had a practice, but your dad will be there he'll just be late.

Me: Ok mom, I'll wait for the both of you in the parking lot.

Mom: How about Yellow? She's coming, right? Rory is very excited to watch the game with her.

Me: Yes mom, she'll be watching and seating with you too. Please don't scare her away.

Mom: Warrick Zeke Maddison, I'll never scare her away, I fact I love the girl for you, she's too good for you know?

I laughed once I read mom's reply.

Me: Trust me mom, I know.

Mom: YOU YOUNG MAN. Better not scare her away. Treat Yellow right.

Me: Yes mom, let me know when you arrive. Love you.

Mom: Sure son. Love you.

After exchanging messages with my mom, I hit Yellow with a message.

Me: Heart, where are you?

Within a minute she replied

Heart: Miss me so much?
