The Hotshots won the game tonight. After the game, I bid goodbye to Warrick's parents and also to Rory, but not to Warrick. That's why he bombarded me with messages.

Warrick: Mom said you left right after the game. She wanted to invite you to a late dinner tonight, but you left.

Warrick: Did something come up to your house?

Warrick: Heart, I'm worried.

Warrick: Baby, did I do something wrong?

My head hurts right after me and Rory went back from the bathroom. My head feels so heavy. I don't want to leave in the middle of the game. I finished it and went home right away. I didn't tell them why I just said goodbye.

Me: I'm fine; my head feels just a little heavy.

I replied to him.

Warrick: Did you take your medicine?

Me: I already did; maybe I just need a little nap.

Warrick: Take a rest, baby; I'll be home in a while.

I read his last message, and I'm too sleepy to reply.

I don't know how long I've been sleeping. I was still dark outside when I woke up because my bedroom door opened. Good thing I left the lamp open. It was Warrick who came in.

"War? " my voice sound rough

"It's me, baby," he said, strolling to my side and crouching down. "Are you ok?" He asks. My head seems fine now. I nod. I can see he was worried.

"What time is it?" I ask

"It's eleven, Heart, why?" It's eleven in the evening? What is he doing here? Where's Rory? I tried to sit down

"Where's Rory? War, what are you doing here? Did you leave Rory alone at your house? War, go back to your house now; you can't just leave Rory there."

He was smiling at me; how could he smile like that? While I'm worried, he left his daughter sleeping alone in his house.

"Stop smiling, Warrick. Go back now." He sat down the bed

"You know, for a person who has a headache, you have too many questions, Heart. And even though you are sick, you still think of Rory first." He reached for my hand. "She's not in the house sleeping alone; she is with mom and dad tonight because she wants to sleepover, so calm down; I did not leave her alone," he explained.

Oh...

"How do you feel right now, baby?" He

"I feel better now; I just needed that nap," I say
