Yellow
It's been days since Warrick and Rory were here at my house. And since then, my house is quiet again. I'm still thinking about the way he hugged me, and the way he did not let me go when his daughter came. If they weren't there, I'm sure I would lock myself to my office again or cry myself to sleep. I haven't stepped out of my house but I can say that my book progressed and I feel inspired lately. Surprisingly Warrick messaged me every day. Like just now.
Warrick: What are you doing today, Heart?
His message always starts with what I am doing.
Me: brainstorming. deciding
Not a lie, I'm deciding to write a new story. I came up with a new idea but I am still writing the one I am supposed to release.
Warrick: Let me hear those ideas.
Me: Aren't you just wanting some spoilers on what is next to the first book?
Warrick: Am I too obvious? Just a little snippet Heart.
Me: Don't tell anyone.
Warrick: Cross my heart, baby.
Me: It's going to be Dean and Isla's book.
Warrick: DEAN and Isla?! Like Blaze and Freya's son? River and Tala's daughter? Whut!
I laughed. I can't imagine him saying that in front of me.
Me: Yes, War right.
Warrick: So, you're simply telling me it's a best friend to lovers?
Me: I'm surprised you know the tropes, it's more than that.
Warrick: Of course, I have to impress the girl right next door. You know, she's a romance author. I had to learn more about books.
Me: Is she impressed?
Warrick: I think she is. Back to the topic Heart. What are you deciding?
Me: I want to write something else. Not because I don't want to continue the book, I'm working on Dean and Isla, it's just I'm inspired to write something else.
Warrick: Then do it. Heart start writing it. You know not every author is releasing their book accordingly.
Me: Do you think I should do it?
Warrick: Hundred percent baby. Write it then feed me with spoilers.
