BECKY POV

"I'll sleep on the couch and you get to bed, I'll wake you up when it's time to take medication"

I feel so bad for her, to be continuously be woken up to take medication & being extremely tired from the medication but I know this will be over soon.

"Okay" she says as she gets into bed, she looks at me so innocently

"What's wrong did that horror movie scare you?" I say as I lean on her door

"No nothing scares me"

I could literally sense her fear, that movie low-key scared me too but someone has to be brave here and I gotta protect my lady.

"I'll stay here until you fall asleep"

I say to her as I sit beside her

"I mean if you want to" She responds as she turns her back to me, I chuckle knowing she's actually scared because she would of told me to go had she not have been scared.

"Don't ever put such a stupid movie on again" she huffs

I know this sounds a bit crazy but when we were married I loved knowing that I could protect her and that she felt safe, in the night she'd hold me extra tight after we watched a horror movie.

"Anything for you ma'am" I sarcastically responded

I watch Freen toss and turn as she tries to sleep

"Can you just touch my shoulder while I sleep so I know your here"

"Give me your hand" i laugh at her, she's still the same, she needed to hold me all night when she was scared just so she could sleep peacefully.

She gave me her hand and I took it into mine and intertwined our fingers.

I know her heart was racing just as fast as mine but in no time she fell asleep sweet and sound.

I didn't want to let go of Freen's hand, she turned in her sleep and I didn't want to wake her up so I crouched down to the floor and leaned on her bedside cupboard.

Before I knew it I was in deep sleep still holding her hand.

I woke up to the sound of an alarm, I looked over at Freen who's eyes opened probably at the same time as mine.

"Why are you sleeping on the floor are you stupid?" She yells at me, anger evident on her face, I think she felt bad, I didn't even realise I fell asleep I just wanted to be sure she was asleep.

"I didn't realise, anyways it's time for your medication" I let go of her hand realising it's still intertwined

I open the water bottle and give her the medication but she looks angry at me.

"Get in the bed" she scoots over and turns her back to me

"Beg me" I chuckle

She turns over and sits up

"Becky get in the bed now, why are you sleeping on the floor? your back must be in so much pain, am I that bad to you that you had to sleep on the floor?"

"I had to protect my lady" I wink at her

"Get in the bed" she slaps the side im supposed to sleep on

"Yes ma'am" I smirk as I pull the blanket down and take off my shoes.

"If you ever do something like that again I swear" she growls as she huffs and turns over

I couldn't help but smile ear to ear as I pulled her fragile body closer to me and I know it shocked her

"You invited me so you deal with it" I say as I hold her tight, she didn't respond to me so I held her body closer slowly finding her fingers and soothing her hands, my chin on her shoulder as I couldn't control my heart beat.

"I can't believe I have you in my arms again" i whisper in her ear

"Becky what are you doing" she whispers back following a gasp

"Let me stay like this, i need this please, I won't go any further no matter how much I'm dying to"

She didn't respond, I think she wanted this too, because she fell fast asleep in my arms and I lost myself in a deep sleep, a sleep I enjoyed having after ages, where my home is. Freen sarocha.
