"Daniel!" I called in a hoarse whisper. He didn't hear me, and continued to climb out of the window. I felt like I was going to cry. Not because I was scared, but because I had actually liked Daniel, but he only wanted to kill me. I tried to hold my tears back, but I felt a few escape and trickle down my cheeks. I tried not to let anymore escape, because then my mom would come in, and what would I tell her? But I couldn't stop it, so I shoved my face into my pillow and cried.

The next morning was a Saturday, and I tried not to think about the night before.
"How did you sleep Juliette?" asked my mom as soon as I came downstairs.
"Like a baby" I said with a forced smile. She smiled warmly, and turned back to making breakfast.
Exactly, like a baby I said to myself That wakes up in the middle of the night and cries. I grimaced as my mom put my breakfast in front of me. I pushed my food around until it just started getting cold, so I decided to go for a walk. I grabbed my sweatshirt and headed out the door. I was surprised to see Daniel sitting on the stone wall in front of our house.
"Juliette, you don't understand..." he began.
"No Daniel, I do understand" I interrupted. And I know what your plan is!" He looked at me strangely and sighed.
"Okay then Juliette" he growled "What's my 'plan'?"
"You want to kill me..." I said softly. I saw Daniel was about to say something, but I cut him off "No Daniel, don't give me some cover story! I saw you in my room last night! So don't lie to me!" I felt the tears coming back, so I turned around and started heading back to the door. Daniel grabbed my shoulder, and I spun around angrily.
"Listen Juliette" he said "I know you might think that, but it wasn't me! It was my twin!"
"So it was your twin that wanted to kill Simon, and your twin that came into my room with a knife, and your twin that made me stay over your house??" I shrieked at him. He nodded and I scoffed.
"Listen Juliette, I know it seems far fetched, but you have to believe me!" He silently begged with his eyes, until I gave in.
"Fine Daniel, but you have to keep more control over your siblings" I told him seriously. He laughed and rolled his eyes, as if it were some kind of big joke.
"So, come on Juliette!" he said excitedly "Let's go to my place!" He began pulling out his coin, but I grabbed his arm before he could start spinning it.
"No Daniel" I told him "I'm not going back with you now." He looked at me with a look of confusion, sadness, and anger. He didn't even try to argue this time, his eyes flashed an icey blue and he began to walk away.

Later that day, I went on my Facebook account and saw that Annaliese was online
Me: hey annaliese
Annaliese: not now juliette
Me: what??
Annaliese: please juliette!!!
And then she signed off. I stared at the screen weirdly, and decided to go over to Annaliese's house to see what was up.
"I'm going to Annaliese's house mom!" I called to my mom. She looked up from her book and nodded.
************************
Annaliese's house was only one block away from mine, so the walk wasn't that long. I knocked on the door, and Annaliese's mom answered it.
"Hi Juliette!" she said cheerfully "Annaliese is up in her room." I grinned and headed slowly up the stairs.
"Annaliese?" I called. There was no reply. I hurriedly ran up the rest of the stairs and pushed open the door to Annaliese's room. And I saw her.
She was there. On the floor.
Dead.
Next to her was a note that said:
Watch out Juliette. You're next!
Daniel
