"Doctor?" Clara asked as she closed the TARDIS doors. "Are you okay?"
The Doctor rubbed his face and swept his hair away from his face in frustration. The name. His most simplest trigger; its always a name. A memory that would always stay pushed back.
"Who does that name belong to?" Clara asked as she walked towards the console were he was leaning. "Who does Y/n belong to?"
The Doctor looked up from the controls and let a small smile grace his features. The memories of you and the trouble you caused played for him like a montage in a movie. The laughter, the pain, the tears, and the fish fingers.
"She was amazing," The Doctor said softly. He couldn't meet Clara's eyes. "I met her shortly after I met one of my other companions, Rose. They became best friends and after I lost Rose..."
The Doctor paused, the memories hitting him like a tidal wave. "After I lost Rose, she was so broken. She loved traveling with me, she was the only family I had left. But after Rose, she couldn't look at me without seeing Rose. When I met another one of my friends, Donna, and Y/n knew that I would be okay, she left. Wanted a change of scenery and decided to go to America. I always promised her to visit, but I just have never gone back to see her. "
Clara paused, and then slowly reached her hand out and softly rubbed the Doctor's arm. "So why don't we go visit? If what you are saying is true, she is probably very angry that you haven't popped by."
The Doctor groaned and pushed his hands down his face. Could he really face her again? Could he forgive himself for their last words? What if she was still angry? He couldn't avoid her forever. He knew Y/n, and eventually, she would come looking for him. He wondered if she already had.
What is she had seen him from a distance and turned away?
No, he would know. He had to take this risk. He was the Doctor, he took risks everyday. So why did this one feel like it had so much to lose?
The Doctor smiled. "Sure, lets go find her. I have a feeling that the two of you might just get along." The Doctor turned towards Clara and clapped his hands. "You both have a thing for getting into trouble!"
He suddenly turned towards the console and pulled a level, causing them both the grab onto rail as the TARDIS shifted abruptly. "Geronimo!"

"A little help would be nice!" Y/n said as she swung her crowbar at the ghost in front of her. The ghost disappered from in front of her, and suddenly, Y/n was thrown into a wall. "Sam!"
"In a minute!" Sam yelled from the other room as he fought his own up against two ghosts. "Some of us are preocuppied!"
"Dammit! Dean! Did you burn the book yet?" Y/n yelled as she stood up and the ghost came to view in front of her. The ghost gave a wicked smile before raising her decaying arm at her. "Dean!"
Before the ghost could come near her, it lit up in flames and the sound of anguished screams were heard throughout the house. Dean peaked his head up from the bottom of the stairs and grinned. "Did I ruin the fun?"
"Took you long enough," Sam said as he came to stand beside Y/n. "What took you so long?"
Dean shrugged and motioned for them to come down. "You weren't the only one that was having issues."
"Whatever," Y/n said as she rolled her eyes. "I'm starving and I am pretty sure I have a cut on my back. Let's get back to the hotel and fix ourselves up before anything."
