So it was my birthday, and as well it is my good friend CracksInOurLines ! How did this happen? We don't know. So I am going to write her this because she has had some through some tough times lately so I think this will cheer her up! Please check out her story Endlessly! Now without further ado, here it is! (Her name is Cydnie, pronounced Sydney!) This is kinda late...but more is to come!!
Birthdays were never my things. I was awkward, shy, and not very good at talking to people. I guess that put a dent in my social skills.
Growing up as a hunter didn't help either. There wasn't much time for birthdays or friends to spend the night. I was given a quick hug from my parents, and I was always given a new weapon. That simple.
But it had been years since I had last celebrated. But I wasn't trying to dwell to much on those memories. I've learned to live in the present.
That's exactly what I was doing this morning. I had woken up next to the nicest, handsomest, and smartest man in the world.
Sam Winchester
I'd known Sam since we were kids, but it was really last year he plucked the courage to ask me out. Since then it's been smooth sailing.
Not once I have mentioned my birthday to the brothers. There were two options and each were horribly bad. One, they could ignore it. Two, they could make a big deal out of it.
So I just kept my mouth shut.
This morning was a peaceful one. I was curled into Sam's side as I woke up. His arms were wrapped around me protectively. I didn't know why I had woken up so early this morning. One look at the beside calendar made it clear.
I had three days till my birthday.
Oh Gosh.
Sam and Dean had been pestering me for weeks now about my birthday, and I had managed not to break once. That was good.
Laying my head back on Sam's chest I shut my eyes in hope that I could sleep through this problem. But things don't work out like that do they?
Sam stretched out quietly beside me and turned his head down to look at me. Seeing I was awake, his face broke out into such a big smile, it made me smile too.
"Good morning," he said softly as one of his arms rubbed my back.
"Morning," I whispered back.
His smile seemed to get wider and he leaned down to kiss me.
I ran my hands through his hair as his came up to cup my face. When I pulled back breathless, he gave me another smile before sitting both of us.
"Let's go make sure Dean hasn't burned to kitchen down. Shall we?"
I smiled and gave him a nod as I stood up and started walking towards the door. Everything seemed so peaceful and quiet.
Getting up was one of the worst decisions I made.

As we entered the kitchen, Dean wasn't even in there. We decided to go ahead and make some breakfast in case he came in grumbling about stomach pains.
I swear Dean was a child as much as he was an adult.
Sam and I passed a few comments and kisses as we cooked together. Once we got done making a basic breakfast and cutting fruit we sat down at the table and started to eat. Dean came stumbling in a five minutes later with his hair a mess and his PJ's crinkled.
