(Garth)
The fall started when you had meet him on a simple salt and burn. The ghost had been killing people in the town for far to long. You hunted alone and this time you wished you hadn't. The damn ghost had gotten you the moment you had found her body. She use to be such a sweet lady, but her getting killed changed her spirit. Such a shame.
So after you had spent an hour digging you had gotten to the bones just to be thrown across the graveyard. By some luck right when she was going to slash you in the chest, a man had shot her. She disappered giving you enough time for you both to burn the bones.
You sighed happily, ignoring the pain in your left arm because this ghost was finally gone. You turned to look at the man beside you. The orange flaw was lighting up his face so you could see his handsome features.
He was still, slim yet built, and had dark brown hair. He looked a little beaten down, but which hunter wasn't?
You stepped forward and held out your other hand and grinned, " What's your name stranger?"
He smiled and turned to look at you. You inwardly groaned realizing you looked kinda bad. Some your hair had fallen out of your braid and you clothes had dirt all over them.
" Garth, fellow hunter. May I ask also ask a beautiful gal's name as yourself?" Yep he was flirting with you. You giggled and grapsed his warm hand.
" Y/n and thanks for saving me by the way. She was pissed."
He laughed lightly and you picked up your shovel and duffle bag. Struggling you managed to carry both without hurting your left arm. You walked a few steps and turned to see he wasn't following. " You coming Garth?"
His beautiful eyes meet with yours, and he broke out into a huge grin. Nodding he came up beside you as you walked back to your car. Who knew that would be start of something great?

Snapping back to the present you looked around the park that you where at. You were suppose to meet Garth here for your one year anniversary. A lot had changed in one year. You and Garth had started dating a couple days after you meet him. Instead of hunting alone, you decided to hunt together. You had also found out that he was a werewolf but that didn't bother you. You didn't care. He was so sweet, innocent, and was always kind so you didn't have a reason to hate him.
Even at his worst you had stayed. He couldn't think of why you would stay but you had a word for it. You didn't share your reason with him because you were scared he would suddenly leave. You loved him.
You realized you had loved him since he had saved you. How could another regular hunter just come up and save another? None had helped you before. You loved him because of his heart. He didn't know you but he choose to save you anyway.
Hands had landed on your shoulders and you didn't have to turn around to see who's they were. These hands where warm and helped you stay warm in the coldest days of the year. They were Garth's.
You smiled," Hey Garth, beautiful out here isn't it?"
He sat down on the bench next to you and wrapped his arm around your waist pulling you close. He kissed your forehead and you smiled up at him, " Almost as beautiful as you."
You blushed and looked back out content where you were. You were in the arms of your loved one and nothing could get better then this. He started rubbing his hand up and down your arm knowing how cold you got. Garth always thought it was funny. Sometimes at night he would wake up to see you putting on a hoodie then slipping back into bed with him or even when it would be eighty degrees outside you would have on a light jacket. And that's what he loved about you.
He had excuses to hug you and bring you close. Garth loved you. He just didn't know how to tell you. So he was going to tell you tonight, under the stars.
He knew how corny it sounded but you loved little things like that. Night's you couldn't sleep he would find you looking up at the stars. You always came to this park, it was only a walk away from your apartment. All he would have to do is walk down here and he would find you on this bench looking up.
So as it continued to get darker both of you sat there and watched the sky go dark. Rarely talking, just enjoy each others company. There was no need for words with you two. Just to experience it was enough. Hours passes and the only movement would be when you would scoot closer to each other.
When you had full blown started shivering Garth decided it was time for you to come home. He stood up and offered you his hand which you greatly accepted. He wrapped his arm around your shoulder as you two began walking home. He mentally hit himself. It was just perfect and he didn't tell you! He shoud have when he had the chance.
Slipping into the building you two walked up the stairs quietly trying to to disturb the peace had tonight. Slipping into your apartment you sighed in relief as you felt the heater on. You knew that the heat would only last a little while but it was worth it. Garth had moved into the kitchen probably to make some hit chocolate so you went into the bedroom and changed into some more comfortable clothing. Slipping your hair out of it's braid it fell in slight waves. You changed your shirt and threw on a grey hoodie and switched your jeans for some plaid shorts.
Walking back into the kitchen you were meet with the sweet smell of hot chocolate. Grinning you turned into the kitchen to see Garth holding to mugs and you watched from the doorway. He was trying to pour both mugs equally and once he had done that he was trying to pick them both with one hand. You tried contain your giggles but it didn't work. You loved this man and the little things that he did made it better.
He froze and turned around finally mastering it and waved his hand which made you laugh harder. He walked forward till he was right in fron of you and leaned down and kissed you. With his free hand he pushed the hair away from your face and drew tiny circles on your cheek. When you parted he drew back with a smile on his face. " Happy Anniversary Y/n"
You smiled back brightly and kissed his check taking the cup from him. " Happy Anniversary to you too Garth."
You clinked your glasses together and took a small drink but had to put it down because of your yawning. Garth chuckled and took the cup from you and put them both in the sink. Then he lead you to the bedroom and you sat on the bed. You laid back on the pillows and pulled the blankets up as he changed and starred at the celling trying to get the courage to say it. You decided it was now or never. Garth watching you while he changed was thinking the same thing. Luckly you had beat Garth to it.
You sat up on your elbows and just smiled. " I love you Garth."
His breath hitched and his face had a big smile on it. He turned to face you and he couldn't have been happier. He didn't have to worry about you leaving.
" I love you too."
Relief washed through you and your smile lit up the room. He crawled back into bed with you and gave you one last sweet kiss before taking you in his warm arms. You sighed and snuggled up to him placing a kiss on his neck. " I love you y/n."
You smiled tiredly, " Love you too"
It had only been a year but you loved Garth with all your heart. You saw the side nobody else saw and that's why you loved him.
