(Castiel)

"I walk a lonely road
The only one I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's home to me and I walk alone..."

Green Day hummed softly out of your speakers in your room. You were packing, and you were packing fast. You made the decision by thinking very hard on your options.

1. Stay with Sam, Dean, and Cas and cause more pain and sadness to come in their lives or....

2. Leave, take all your money and go find another place to stay and not mess up...

You chose option two.

Dean and Sam had been clingy lately. I mean you get kidnapped once and they think that it is bound to happen again. The boys had beat themselves up because of it, but it really was your fault. You had forgotten your gun and the demons had the jump on you.

Sighing you zipped up your old trusty book bag and shouldered it making sure that you hadn't forgotten anything.

All your clothes were in your bag, you had your money, and the notes you where leaving for everyone. Moving over to the stereo you pressed repeat on the song and quietly left the room. The boys had gone out to get something so it was only you. Stopping at the door you turned and glanced around once more, you would miss this place but it wasn't for you. All you brought to the table was sadness and death.

You were a good hunter, but not good enough. You would miss this place. The memories were still fresh. You remember playing the drinking game with Sam, playing poker with Dean, and then there was Cas.

You would miss Castiel the most. The way his blue eyes lit up when he was laughing, the little things he cared about, and the way he trusted you with anything. If he had questions, (which was usually) he would ask you each question. And no matter how stupid, funny, or set up questions that Dean told him to ask you, you answered them.

You loved him with all your heart but you knew that he didn't love you back. You had this one long scar on your face that came from a werewolf a year ago and you thought you were no longer normal. Everyone stared at you now and you absolutely hated it.

But for Castiel, you didn't know he felt the same way. He yearned to hug and kiss you everyday. He wanted to be the first person you saw every morning. He loved everything about you and he thought your scar was apart of you. He wouldn't change any piece of you. Even though he really didn't understand human emotions he knew he loved you.

But you loved Castiel and the boys so much you were willing to let them go. You had written each boy a note, but Castiel's was longer than everyone else. It held all the sweet nothings you wished to tell him every night and morning. It expressed all your love. So finishing the last of your memories you opened the door and walked out. Knowing that life from now on will be hard.

"I walk this empty street

On the boulevard of Broken Dreams.

Where the city sleeps

And I'm the only one and I walk alone

I walk alone..."

Two hours later the boys returned home. Dean and Sam carrying a bundle of supply bags they walked into the bunker calling your name.

"Hey y/n! Help us please!" Sam yelled out into the quiet place. When you didn't reply he crept down the hallway until he got to your room. To shocked to go in he stood at the doorway to see that your room was now messed up and your clothes missing. Your stero was still playing that sad song.
