It's Not You (Part 1)

Rolling over on your side you felt the presence of someone laying beside you. Letting out a content sigh you snuggled closer to the figure and a small smile found it's way on your face.

A warm hand rubbed your back and started to play with your hair softly. The other hand captured one of yours in it and rubbed its thumb along the back.

" Are you going to open your eyes sweetheart?" You heard Gabe ask from beside you.

Shaking your head gently you just cuddled into his side more, " No because if I open my eyes that means we have to get up and you will have to leave. I don't want you to leave me."

Gabe chuckled and you felt a gently kiss on your forehead. " Your brothers will barge in here at any moment."

The thought of Sam and Dean coming in just made you groan. You waved your hand that was still linked in Gabe's in the air." Let them do whatever they want. I don't care. I just want to be with you."

Gabe laughed and pulled you tighter to his chest, " oh my y/n. What would I do without you?"

You giggled and finally opened your eyes to see him just staring at the celling. You moved slightly and rested your chin on his chest, " I can't say crash and burn so maybe just be lonely?"

Gabe just playfully glared out you and then smiled, " Your probably right."

You smirked," Of course, I'm a Winchester. I'm always smart aren't I?"

It happened so fast you didn't see it coming. Gabe flipped you over and was now hovering over you," I would push it if I was you. I know you y/n."

You shook your head but was interrupted when he started tickling you. You let a high pitched laugh and tried to get out from under him. His hands roamed your sides as he sat on your legs so you couldn't escape.

" Gabe please stop! Gabe! GABE!" You screamed as another bark of laughter forced it's way out of your throat. Your checks hurt from smiling and your stomach hurt from laughing. Tears ran down your face as you tried to push his hands away.

Instead of answering he ducked down and kiss you right on the lips. Your hands went automatically to his hair. You ran your hands through his soft hair and enjoyed that he finally stopped tickling you. Once he pulled back he rested his forehead on yours.

" I love you y/n"

You smiled and closed your eyes again, " I love you too Gabe."

That only happened hours ago. And now you were here.

You stood there not being able to form any words. Lucifer stood over his brother with a look of sorrow on his face. Tears started to run down your cheeks but you weren't making any noise. You weren't going to give him the satisfaction.

You looked down at your feet and a sob got stuck in your throat. Gabe's wings were burnt into the floor. His once beautiful wings that you could see were now burnt to the floor. Fucking fantastic.
