It had been months since Dean had went to Hell. You were heartbroken.
This wasn't the normal heartbreak that every teen felt in stupid love.
This one had crushed you. You could have heard your heart shatter into a million pieces just by looking at his body. You had loved Dean with all your heart.
You had taken him in your heart, despite the flaws. You thought those flaws were perfect.
Every night you missed him. You missed his arms around you, the way he would kiss the back of your head before falling asleep........
He was even there for your nightmares.
You had nightmares regularly and with Dean sleeping beside you, they had went away. But this time, without him there, they came back and was worse than before. He always blamed you for his death in them. That you should have been taken, not Sam. It was true though. If you would have went into the diner, Sam wouldn't have been killed and Dean wouldn't have sold his soul. It was all your fault.
You knew Sam didn't mean to blame you, but he did. It was in his eyes every time he looked at you. So in the beginning he had stayed with you, he had helped you heal. But after three weeks he had left. He had just left a note.
Sorry. I couldn't stand being there.I'm going to get him back Y/n. Go to Bobby's or stop hunting. Just get out. This is goodbye. I'm sorry.
~Sam
You had screamed and cried at that note. Instead of doing what Sam asked, you continued hunting. You hadn't seen Bobby but you had been speaking to Garth. He had been some what helpful but you preferred to hunt alone. It had been four months since Dean was dragged and your heart was hurting. The morning struck you like a knife. It stung.
You rolled onto your back on the hotel bed and shut the alarm off staring at the celling. This day you always felt sad. You didn't have Sam or Garth to comfort you. But your tears had long ran dry and you haven't cried. You refused to let anyone ever come close to you again. Dean's death had hit you hard.
You stood up and stretched and made your way to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of juice and opened your laptop to get more information on the vampire you were hunting. You were a good hunter before but with this new edge to you, your reputation had built up fast. You were now one of the best hunters out there.
Locating the vampires in an old barn ten miles away you got up and quickly changed into some blue skinny jeans, a gray t-shirt, some black combat boots, grabbed your dagger, dead mans blood and walked out to your car and drove away.
Meanwhile Dean has managed to track you to your hotel. He knew you would go under the old name Grace Remington. That was the name you always used in getting hotels. After telling the nice old women behind the desk that he was your husband he made his way to your room and opened the door and entered.
He looked around your plain room and sighed. Your clothes were hanging in your closet, the bed made, and the picture of Sam, him and you a couple days before he was dragged to hell. You three were sitting on Bobby's back porch and Bobby had taken the picture. Your face had shown pure happiness and delight, but Sam's almost had much as yours. Dean remember that day. It was the day he told you he loved you.
You smiled at the sunshine and ran a couple feet into the car yard with Dean playfully glaring at you. You were holding his phone in the air and was facing him. You had been dating for about eight months and you were terrifed of him going to hell, but that didn't stop you from having fun.
He stalked forward and stopped three feet away from you and sent you a smirk."Y/n I would suggest to give it back. You don't want me to have to get you."
You giggled and stuck your tounge out at the Winchester,"Catch me if you can!"
You turned and started to run, but Dean had the advantage. He sweeped you over his shoulder while you were laughing at shouting curses at the man. Sam and Bobby had ran out to investigate but saw that Dean was swining you around looking happier then ever. Sam and Bobby sighed and gave a huge smile.
Once Dean had set you down you had ran past Sam and Bobby and grabbed your old polaroid camera to take a picture. Once you had convinced the boys you had pushed them down on the porch and given Bobby the camera. While he was trying to figure out to work it Dean had turned to you and wrapped an arm around your waist.
"I love you by the way."
You had looked at him in shock and tried to see if you had heard right. Once he nodded a smile that almost jumped off your face came on. "I love you too."
He smiled wider and he dragged you closer to him, and Sam scooted closer as you were squished in the middle. Bobby had taken the picture then, Dean was staring lovingly at you, you were beaming at the camera, and Sam hearing you two had a huge smile on his face. It was a great day.
Dean sighed and dropped down on the bed and faced the door. He knew you would be heartbroken and probably not want him here but he was willing to pay the price. He wanted you back. So he sat and waited. For hours.
Walking up to your room you sighed and just wanted to collapse in bed. The hunt had taken longer then you expected and most of your left arm was turning purple because of the way the vampire threw you. It wasn't broken, just bruised.
Unlocking the door you walked in and slammed the door behind you not even noticing the figure on your bed. You kicked your boots of and turned to fall into bed when he stopped you.
Dean Winchester was sitting on your bed, alive.
You grabbed your knife, mad that the demons wouldn't leave you alone for once. Running forward you went to stab him but he had blocked you. Holding your wrist in his hand he gently took the knife from you and cut his arm.
No buring, no smoke. It was really Dean.
You took a step back as he stood still watching you with a small smile. You shook your head slowly and gasped for air. "You can't be back! I watched you die! I held you as you had your last breath! I buried you! Leave, now!"
He was shocked at your words. "Y/n it is really me. Do I have to prove it? You're favorite time of day is when the sun is setting. You say my music annoy's you, but you sing along to it anways. You had gotten your anti-possesion tattoo on your shoulder blade and one on your head at fifteen when you were dared to shave your head. I know almost everything about you.." You stared at Dean in shock. He was the only one that knew these things but one thing stood out. It was he said at the end."...And most of all you love me. You don't think I'm poison or gonna kill you. I love you and you love me. If you want me to love I will but I remind you I will be back."
He turned and started walking towards the door when you shouted "Don't Leave!"
He turned to see you had fallen to your knees and tears was running down your face. After everything he had said, he made you cry. He bent down to your level and cupped your face in his hands and watched you smile sadly. Your e/c eyes met his amazing green and you breathed, "I love you."
With no hesitation he kissed you and wrapped his arms around your waist. Every anger or sadness you had ever felt disappeared and the feeling was replaced with love. You no longer felt cold or different, you felt warm and most of all whole. You were you again.
Once you pulled back Dean pushed a strand of hair from your face and wiped the tears away. He brought you both on the bed and held you in his arms never wanting to let you go. You cuddled up to his chest, and ignored the outside world. You smiled up at him, "I love you." Dean looked down at you and gave you his amazing smile.
"I love you too and I won't leave you again."
