New Years Kiss

It was almost the beginning of a new year. A knew year, new slate, new everything. You had the chance to make this year greater then the horrible ones you had experienced before.

You sat in your room at the bunker writing on a simple sheet of paper. You were writing down all your resolutions, well the only two that could come to mind anyway.

A gentle knock at the door made you look up from your writing and to see Sam standing in the doorway.

"Dean and I have a case and we're going to go ahead and go. Is that okay with you? I mean you always love when we spend New Years together."

You shook your head and gave him a small smile, " It's fine Sam. I have Adam don't I?"

Sam nodded and a smirk came across his face, "Yes you do. Y/n you going to make sure that he is your first kiss of the year?"

Your eyes widened and blood rushes to your face, "Sa-m t-hats not what I meant!"

Sam let out a small laugh and shook his head at you, "Y/n I know how you feel about Adam. Don't deny it." Sam crossed the room and sat on the bed beside you.

It was true, you were in-love with the youngest Winchester. Since Adam had found you a couple years ago after he had gotten out of hell, you had become really good friends. But put off all the people you could have fallen for, you fell for Adam.

It started out slow but one day it hit you really hard. You didn't tell Adam about your feeling because 1, he couldn't return them and 2, you couldn't bare not being his friend. So you kept your mouth shut and just let all the girls flirt with him. You couldn't stand them but thank goodness Adam was a saint and never went home with one.

Sam brought you back to the present by waving a hand in front of your face with that same smirk on his face. "Are you thinking about him Y/n?"

You shook your head quickly and turned away so he wouldn't see you blushing. Sam stood up and put his hands on your shoulders, "Just tell him or better yet kiss him Y/n. See you next year!"

You laughed at Sam's cheesy line a gave him a small thumbs up in return. When he seemed pleased by his work he walked out your door and probably to find Dean.

You sat back against your bed and let out a small groan. It was a tradition that you kiss someone on New Years, but you didn't want Adam to feel inclined, you wanted it to be natural.

You slapped your hands over your eyes and let out bother groan. You sounded like a freakin middle school girl that was love sick! You hated it! You never blushed or giggled but something about Adam always makes you. He was going on notice one day.

A Big Bang erupted through the bunker and you slumped your shoulders. Sam and Dean had left you here with Adam, it going to be super awkward.

True to your word it was. After an hour had passed you made your way into the screening room to turn on the Doctor Who marathon. You had changed into some more comfortable clothes and tried to get yourself to relax. It was only going to be a couple days. Not much could happen.......Well could it?

You slipped into the kitchen quietly and made yourself some hot chocolate and some popcorn. Going back in front of the TV you pulled the blanket onto your lap and watched as Matt Smith played soccer. You laughed at his one attempt but was interrupted when someone knocked gently on the door.
