Hi everyone! This is my last Christmas one I swear. I was on Tumblr the other day and read an outlined version of this. I am changing some names in here but the idea goes to the wonderful owner on Tumblr. Sadly I can't remember the name and I refuse to back on there until all the hate is taken away. Someone even sent me a kill message and let's just say it's been a tough couple of days. So when I get back on Tumblr I will find the author and give them fame. But seriously we need to be strong and stop all the hate that has surfaced on Tumblr to our SPN family. One girl has already died because of it, and that's one to many.

Please if you are feeling these urges or emotions contact me or any other person you can. I am always here. So don't leave. You are worth so much and in ten years when you are surrounded by family you will look back at these times and be thankful that you pulled through. "Family don't end with blood" we are here together.

But this one-shot is to my good friend CracksInOurLines. Her name is Cydnie, (pronounced Sydney).

Have a good rest of the holidays! Happy New Year!

(Dean Winchester/Father)

Bobby sat at his old desk in a torn state. He was watching as Cydnie played with her stuffed animals on the floor, oblivious to the dangerous world around her. It was Christmas eve and her father wasn't home. It broke Bobby's heart.

Her father, Dean Winchester wasn't home. He was on a hunt.

Bringing the bottle of beer to his lips, Bobby flipped through the book of witch lore in front of him. He knew the boys would be calling for help any minute now.

As if on cue Bobby's phone rang. Not even looking at the screen he pressed answer and brought it to his ear. "Hello."

"Hey Bobby. Have you put on a Santa suit yet?" Dean's voice came from the receiving line of the phone. It was cheery, yet it had a edge on it. Something was wrong.

"What do you need help with now Dean?" Bobby sighed and lowered his voice so the five-year old wouldn't hear him from across the room. But she just continued to play with her animals and make cute little noises. Currently it looked like the tiger and rabbit were in a heated conversation.

"We don't need help Bobby, we're still trying to find the bitch."

Bobby brought a hand down on his face and scratched the back of his neck. "What do mean you can't figure it out? Dean tomorrow's Christmas! You have to be back by tonight!"

Bobby heard an aggravited sigh, "You don't think I know that Bobby? I want to see my daughter so bad but we can't just drop this. You know that.......How's my girl anyway?"

Bobby let a tired smile cross his face as he leaned back against the chair. "She's doing just fine. She's playing with those animals of hers. I think they're arguing about who has the best fur, but I can't tell. She switches topics every damn minute."

Dean laughed on the other end, "Well that's Cydnie for ya. Are you going to tell her I might not make it back for tomorrow?"

"Do I always have to be the one with the bad news? Just hurry okay? I'll keep her distracted and you just kill the bitch okay?"

"Yeah, yeah we know. Just tell her I love her alright? I'm trying Bobby."

"I know kid, I know." With that Bobby ended the call and glanced back over at Cydnie. Some how a polar bear had made an entrance what it looked like was on the rabbit's side. He stood up and made his way over to the little girl and crouched in front of her. "Hey kiddo. What you talking about now?"
