-3rd POV-

"Away with you! We have no time to waste on your foul ilk!" Sebek exclaimed.

The auroral light appears, making them look.

"What's this? There's a light in the darkness..."

The light glowed, before their scenery changed.

"Mrah? The scenery changed." Grim said, looking around him.

"I see a cozy little house." (Y/n) said.

The Diasomnia male's eyes widen, "Why...That's the woodland house Lilia used to live in! Is this part of Lilia's dream?

"You're asking me to train your grandson in martial combat?" A familiar voice said.

"Yes." Another voice said.

"Those voices...Is that Lilia-sama and grandfather?!"

"My daughter's eldest son and daughter have shown no interest in martial pursuits...But their youngest has voiced an interest in training to join the royal guard as I once did." Baur explained.

"Ahh, I see. But why come to me?" Lilia tilted his head, "You're still active as an advisor to the royal guard. You could train him yourself."

He scratched the back of his head, "Well, ah, it's a bit trickier...with family..." He averted his eyes.

He chuckled, "You wouldn't be able to avoid going easy on him, hm? That's no surprise." He then nodded, "Sure, why not. I'll be his trainer."

He bowed at him, "Thank you, General!"

Lilia waved his hand while shaking his head, "Come now, Baur. It's been centuries since I resigned from that post."

The said male nodded, standing, "Sorry, sir. Old habit..."

"You took over my post yourself! And by now you've left it to become an advisor instead. So, how old is this youngest grandson of yours?"

"He'll be seven this year."

"Seven, hm...That's quite close in age to the boy I'm taking care of. They could make fine training partners for one another. What's he called?" He smiled.

"Sebek, sir."

"Sebek, hm. What a dignified name. Very well—as long as you understand he won't get any special treatment from me just because he's your grandson. I'm going to run him ragged."

"That's just what I want, sir."

"I was worried when your daughter married a human and brought him here...But it seems you've mellowed out." He teased him.

"Hmph. This doesn't mean I've accepted that frail human man. It's just...My grandson's done nothing wrong."

Then the memory ended, sending them back.

"Grandfather...My reading, my learning the fae tongue, my studying under Lilia-sama...It was grandfather and the rest of my family's support that shaped me into the person I am now. I'm sure it's just the same for Silver. Where are you, Silver...?!" Sebek said, looking down.

-----

"Mraaah!" Grim sent blue fire to the ink.

"This darkness gunk won't leave us alone!" Sebek said.

They all saw another glow, walking towards it.

"Hm? That light..." Shoto said.

The scene turned back to the small cottage.

"Greetings, Lilia-sama! I am Sebek Zigvolt! Allow me to say what an honor it is to train under the peerless General of the Right! I look forward to your tutelage!" A small Sebek said, bowing.
