"First, Vanrouge will be returning to school." Crowley said.

Kalim's eyes widen, "Whoa, really?! That's great news, but I thought he said he couldn't use magic anymore. What changed?"

"Well, uh...Lilia and Malleus both underwent examinations at Styx HQ after the incident. And they found that Lilia had partially regained his magic." Idia explained.

Leona raised a brow, "Is that even possible? Back on the Island of Woe, Vil briefly turned ol—oh, excuse me." He cut himself off, noting the glare he received, "His magic reserves were drained dry, resulting in physical deterioration. That works completely differently from Lilia literally growing old and losing his magic with age, right?"

"Yup. Using batteries as an analogy, Vil's battery just ran out of power. While Lilia's battery had reached the end of its shelf life. The mechanism inside a mage's body that generates magical power—the magic circuits—never recover once they break down...At least, that's how it's supposed to work. But between Malleus's broken horn and the magestone Silver had...It's possible that the tremendous reserves of magical power they held flowed into Lilia..."

"...and that did something to his magic circuits...or so I'm told. And not to belabor the point, but after taking an attack from Malleus head-on...Lilia's vitals completely shut down for a short while. Yet now he's at full physical and magical health. Fit as a fiddle, not a bruise in sight. He's got Styx's whole medical team stumped. They're all like, "What in the world?"" He finished as the rest were shocked.

"Medical texts occasionally touch on such things. Patients having recoveries due to factors that can't be explained solely with medical science. It seems this is one such case." Riddle said.

The white haired male grinned, "Well, who cares if no one ever figures it out! It's fantastic news!"

"Styx will continue investigating the cause, but if you ask me...The whole thing's gonna wind up getting written off as... miraculous bug brought about by the human error of true love." The Ignihyde housewarden said.

"A miracle brought about by love..." The headmage smiled, "What a wonderful thing! It's something I often think about. What we really need are hopeful outcomes like that. Mmhm. Transcending established logic and frameworks to work miracles outside the box...That's what our magical powers do."

"Okay, so what's the second update?" The lion male questioned.

"Another piece of wonderful news ripe with hope! Believe it or not..." He looked at them, "Draconia might just return to school alongside Vanrouge!"

"Bwhaaaaaaaaa?!" All of them yelled out.

Leona's eyes narrowed, "Hey, Crowley. Is this your idea of a joke? You're gonna let an internationally recognized disaster-lizard come back to school? If that is a joke, it's not funny."

The said male nodded, "Your view is an entirely reasonable one, Kingscholar. However...Draconia was a student here at Night Raven College to begin with. He's been here for two and a half years. He's caused a few snafus, to be sure...but you should all be well aware that you're in no position to criticize him, right?"

"Rgh..." They all groaned.

"As long as someone possesses a letter of enrollment and a desire to learn...our school's policy is to never turn away even the biggest troublemakers. Thus, if he wishes to return here, the faculty has unanimously agreed to accept him."

"Truly a commendable mindset for educators. But I take issue with such "educators" leaving students to handle the clean-up when troublemakers cause a huge mess." Vil said.
