"A-Aether signal tracking successful. I think we have arrived at the designated coordinates...Probably!" Ortho said, as they were up in the sky.

"Aaah!" Everyone yelled as they fell.

"T-Technomantic thrusters to full! Hnnngh!" The boy activated the thrusters, grabbing the group as he tried to soften the landing.

"Hey, don't overexert yourself! I can feel you heating up on my back..." Sebek's eyes widen as he felt the heat on his back, "Agh! That's hot!"

"Tch. Use wind magic to cushion the landing!" Leona grabbed his pen, "I'm talkin' to you, lackeys! Snap out of it! You'd better pull your own weight!" He looked at the Heartslabyul boys.

"Right! Let's do this, Cater!" Trey said, before the two grabbed their pens, "Wind, come forth!" He and the other said.

They softened their landing to the best of their abilities as they crashed on the beach.

"Where are we...?" Silver got up.

The lion male sat up, "Going by the sea breeze and the hot sand we're standing on..." He looked around, "Is this spikey's dream?"

Ortho nodded, "Yes, I set that dream as our destination. It was the one with the lowest probability of encountering the darkness."

Ace's Dream

"Looks like I lucked out and chose the optimal route from prior jump logs. Thank goodness..."

The green haired male turned to him in shock, "Ah, are you all right, Ortho?! Parts of you are strewn all over the beach!"

"I'm good! If I can run my repair protocol, my gear will revert to its original state. But we've got more pressing business right now..." He picked up the tablet, taping the screen but it didn't light up, "Rggh, still nothing. I can't reach nii-san or Styx. I thought the communication jamming was limited to Riddle-san's dream, but apparently it isn't. What could be happening?"

"It's concerning..." Silver turned his head, "Hm? I think I just saw something move out of the corner of my eye. Some kind of black fork is sticking out of the sand..." His eyes widen, "Wait, is that Grim's tail?!"

Sebek dug out the feline, who struggled, before finally pulling him out.

"Whew! I can finally breathe again! Yech, I swallowed sand!" Grim sputtered.

He looked near a tree, "Someone's slumped against that palm tree..." He went over and was shocked, "Ah, that's (Y/n). Hey, are you all right?"

(Y/n) slightly shivered, "I think I'm okay..." She rubbed her head as she sat up with his help.

"Man, Sebek. No concern for the guys collapsed on the ground right next to (Y/n), huh?" Ace said, as he and Deuce were sprawled out.

"Hmph, I'm sure you're all fine. I already know you're tougher than you look. Plus, (Y/n) is a lady, she should be looked after." The Diasomnia male said with a small blush.

(Y/n) blinked with dotted eyes, 'Eh? I'm pretty tough...I've been through worse.' She thought.

Deuce got up with a groan, "Oww...We're tough, sure, but it's a good thing we landed in soft sand."

"Ugh, I've got sand in my clothes and all up in my ears. Brrrgh!" Leona said as he then shook himself to get rid of the sand.

"Excuse me, Leona! Could you not shake sand all over the rest of us?" Cater waved his hands.
