-3rd POV-

Ace huffed, "Okay...Made it back to where Riddle is without getting spotted by the darkness...But...Ugh, this sucks..." He peeked over along with Grim and (Y/n), seeing Leona, Sebek, Cater, and Silver being up in the rose hedges.

"Mrah! They got captured! They're all tied to rose trees!" The feline whispered-yelled.

The girl was worried for them, seeing the thorns digging into their skin and tearing their uniforms, "That's gotta hurt..." She muttered.

"There's gotta be some way we can save them, but..." The orange haired male's eyes widen, "Ah!"

"Housewarden, I've brought a traitor!" A student said, dragging the familiar vice.

"Trey-senpai...!" Ace muttered.

"Urgh..." Trey groaned, as his eyes widen, seeing the rest, "Ah! Cater! Leona! And Silver and Sebek...You got caught too, huh..." He looked around, "But where are the other freshmen?"

"Hmph. Don't worry on their account. They'll be here soon enough." Riddle smirked, then turned to the darkness, "Soldiers, capture the mice scurrying through the maze and bring them before me! Bring my king here too, unharmed!"

"Yes, hoursewarden." The students said, before running off.

"Ah, all those darkness guys just ran back into the maze." The tanuki said.

"They'll find us here eventually. Drat...! How are we supposed to wake housewarden Riddle up by ourselves?!" Ace said, clenching his hand.

"Ah! Ace, (Y/n), and Grim!" A familiar voice called out, making them turn and see Ortho and Deuce.

"Ortho! Deuce! You guys were together?" Grim questioned.

He shook his head, "No, we just joined up when I found Deuce-san on the path back there. The darkness caught Trey-san when he held it at bay so I could escape. And the same thing happened to Leona-san when he helped Deuce-san get away." He pouted.

"But then where's Sebek?" Deuce questioned, looking around, "I thought Leona-senpai said he went into the maze with Ace's group."

"He used his signature spell on the darkness to help us escape, and got himself captured for it. See for yourselves." Ace said, pointing.

The two looked and their eyes widen in shock.

"Riddle, just stop..." Trey said, as he struggled against the branches of the rose trees.

"What a mess you are, Trey. Beheading my good friend pains me just as much as it does you. Your tarts have always been exquisite..." Riddle smiled, "Ah, that's it! If you promise to keep making tarts as my loyal retainer, I'd happily free you. Agreeable terms, wouldn't you say?"

"The way you are now, I refuse to follow you under any terms."

"Oh, is that so?" He closed his eyes with a small sigh.

"Please, Riddle, wake up!"

He looked at him, brows furrowed, "I hardly need a head that says things I don't want to hear. I'll start with yours right now! Take him to the chopping block!" He ordered.

"Oh no, they're dragging Trey-senpai to the block!" Deuce said.

"If we don't do something, they're going to behead all the others one at a time too. What do we do?" Ace questioned.
