Ruggie was crawling on the ground, looking for the coins, "Where are you? Where's the one that entices me so...?" He then spotted it, "Aha!" He got up and ran, "There's something in front of that trash bin..." He grabbed it and grinned, "Huzzah! That's a free one-thaumark coin for me! Score! Wait...Huh?"

His eyes widen, "Why am I getting so giddy over finding a little loose change?" His world distorted as his hand went to his temple, "Urgh, my head...! Why? I've got no reason to care about random coins on the ground..."

Azul chuckled as he and the rest walked up, "I had faith you would pounce on that."

He turned to them, "You're...the guys from this morning?"

"Do you see this, Ruggie-san?" He smiled and showed another coin.

His eyes widen, "Is that...a five-thaumark coin?!"

"What's the matter? You're looking a bit pale...And you seem to have a cold sweat."

"What...are you gonna do with that?"

"I was thinking of tossing it into the water over there and making a wish to come back here again." He said, pointing at the fountain.

"Five thaumarks?! You're not seriously about to throw that much money away! Wait, no! Five thaumarks is barely anything at all. It's just spare change...Hrgh!"

"It's the only coin I have on hand. But...it's just "a little loose change," right?" Azul smirked, then turned to the fountain, "Here goes!"

"No...Don't...!" Ruggie muttered.

The male threw the coin.

"Aaaaaaah!" He screamed as he ran and caught the coin, falling into the water, which started everyone.

"Whoa, Ruggie-senpai just jumped into the water with zero hesitation to grab that five-thaumark coin!" Jack said.

"Talk about obsessed..." Grim said.

The Octavinelle male hummed before laughing, "As strongly as you protest, your actions tell another story altogether. You want it badly, don't you? Be honest, Ruggie-san." He grinned.

"I know Azul-san is doing all of this to wake Ruggie-san up, but..." Ortho trailed off.

(Y/n) blinked, "He's leaning way too hard into the villain thing..." She said.

"Self-restraint isn't healthy, you know. Just admit it..." Azul looked at the coin, "You want it more than anything!"

"Urgh, I..." The hyena male grabbed his head, "I...Argh, my head...! Ah, aaah..." He then yelled, waking up. He huffed, chuckling a bit, "I remember everything now...Why was I...?"

"Hey, Ruggie! Why'd you jump into the water?!"

"We got worried something was up so we came back to check on you...What are you doing, man?!"

The dream friends said.

"Five thaumarks..." Ruggie muttered as he got out the water, uniform sticking to his body and soaked.

"Huh?" Both said.

"A five-thaumarks coin was this close to falling into the water..."

"So what? It's just five thaumarks."

He narrowed his eyes at him, "Just five thaumarks? With five thaumarks...You can buy a shrimp gratin plate at the cafeteria with a side salad...and add creamy crab croquettes and an egg muffin to boot."

"What are you talking about? All the food at our school is free!"

"Our school isn't some national or royal academy. You have to pay outta pocket for anything beyond basic menu items. They're cheapskates. And they'll give you your first uniform and PE wear and stuff for free, but you gotta buy replacements yourself if you ruin 'em."
