The battle started hot. More Chimera Animals came at the Mew Mews, the girls pushing back. With Amai now in the game it was a little easier to destroy the creatures, but it still was a lot as they were outnumbered.

Mint flew above the group, shooting at the Chimera Animals with her bow. "If we don't take down all of them, we won't be able to get the Mew Aqua!"

"I know!" Amai said while jumping on the insects, destroying them one by one. She landed on the ground, gripping her wand tight. The sound of typing caught her attention and she looked to her right. She saw Ichigo kneeling a few feet away while tapping fast on her phone.

"Ichigo, what are you doing?!"

"Sorry, Amai-chan! I just have to let him know I'll be a little late!"

"Ichigo, now isn't- behind you!"

The pink girl jumped as a Chimera Animal came at her from behind, though during the action she let go of her phone. Amai went fast to retrieve it, catching it before it could land in the monster's open mouth.

"Got it!" She tossed it back to Ichigo.

"Thanks, Amai-chan!"

Amai grinned. "Come on, guys! Let's do this so Ichigo can make it to her date on time!"

All the girls attacked, wiping out every last Chimera Animal. They looked up to the aliens. "You three are the last ones left!" Amai shouted.

"Hand over the Mew Aqua!" Pudding added.

Kisshu laughed. "You mean this?" He held up the small blue/violet crystal in his hand. "I might consider letting Amai have it." He grinned. Amai glared at him, but she felt something wasn't right.

The Mew Aqua he had... she didn't feel anything from it. No warmth in her chest, no sudden pulse of her heart, nothing.

"Something's wrong."

She had no time left to think about it when Zakuro swung her whip hard at the platform the aliens were on, making them fly into the air. Amai used the opportunity to jump and reach for Kisshu. Though just as she got within arm's length his fingers pressed on the jewel, shattering it into pieces. Amai landed on the ground shocked, but also full of dread.

"I knew it, it's not a real Mew Aqua!"

Masha came to the same conclusion, making the announcement to the other girls. Amai glared at Kisshu. "You tricked us!"

He waved a hand. "Tricked? Don't be so dramatic."

He disappeared, teleporting behind her. Just as Amai spun around, his lips pressed against her forehead. She blushed at the contact and swiped her arm at him, pushing him back. "St-stop!"

He chuckled. "I just wanted to toy with you. And my plan worked perfectly, didn't it?" His eyes were full of glee. "See? You came all the way here to see me!"

Amai inhaled sharply, feeling horribly tense. Pieces of something falling drew her head upwards to the giant cocoon at the top of the tower. It was pulsing rapidly. Everyone watched, uneasy, as more of it peeled away.

The aliens flew in front of it. "The time has come." Pai said. The three flew into a formation around it, using their powers to enhance the awakening of whatever creature was inside.

Then they started to speak.

"O fleeting breath, born within the cocoon..." Pai started.

"Bury this gleaming city in your resplendent dust!" the youngest, Taruto, continued.

"Enjoy this delicious serving of the Tokyo Gondwana Renaissance!" Kisshu finished.

The cocoon exploded, a large cloud of crimson dust pouring out and covering the sky.

"What is that thing?!" Ichigo said.

From the dust a large moth, roughly the size of three or four houses, unwrapped its wings.

"The Hybrid Animal born of countless genetic experiments finally lives; the Dust Wyvern!"

Amai was horrified. She had always known her father's people would try to gain vengeance against humanity, but this...

"Daddy, this is more evil than anything either of us had ever thought of!"
