Dahlia groaned as she waited with Pansy and Daphne, leaning against a wall in the common room as they waited for the boys. "What in the world is taking them so long" Dahlia huffed, "It's probably Draco Holding them up, he's the most obsessed with his appearance" Pansy muttered. "Where's Nyx?" Daphne asked, realizing the lovable flying cat was no where to be seen "she's exploring the Forbidden Forest, I figured she would find it more exciting than being stuck in a classroom with me all day" Dahlia smiled, petting Hermes's Head. "Finally" Dahlia sighed, standing up straight as the four boys came up from the boy dorms "Blame Dray, he insisted on looking good" Phineas muttered, "what! I won't apologize for taking time to look good" Draco huffed, offended.
"Thank merlin that only lasted about two months" Daphne said with a relieved sigh, getting an offended look from her brother in law. "That's how Sirius is, takes nearly an hour to get him out of the bathroom" Remus said, rolling his eyes in annoyance, he's lost count of how many times they were late because Sirius overslept and then took forever in the restroom. "It's something all blacks do aparently, Regulus, Andromeda, Narcissa and Bellatrix take just as long" Severus drawled, the other Slytherins nod in agreement, the only reason they weren't late because of it was because they knew how to get up early. 'Dahlia and harry are blacks and they don't take long" Marlene countered, "it makes sense considering that they had no way to know the Potter or black family little details. However after our second year, they started caring more about their hair. Well Harry attempted in any case, however don't forget they grew up with muggles who could care less about their lives much less their hair" Pansy said, reminding everyone again that the twins had been robbed of a lot.
"We're all sitting at the Slytherin table today. While we no longer hate Gryffindor, we could use a break from the Red and Gold" Theo said, "alright, I planned on dragging the others over to the table anyway" Dahlia agreed as they left the common room. "We could start alternating days, that way it's fair and we're not at one table more than the other" Blaise suggested "that's a wonderful idea" Dahlia agreed, entering the Great Hall first. The others took their seats while Dahlia and Daphne walked over to the Gryffindor Table "come along dear Neville" Daphne smiled, pulling Neville over to the snake's table gently. "Up you two" Dahlia said, dragging Harry and Ron over, Hermione laughed, thoroughly amused as she walked over to the table taking a seat next to Phineas, Dahlia glared at the rest of the table, a silent look that made it clear, she wouldn't be allowing any unwanted comments.
"Merlin her glare is scary" Barty muttered, "you have no idea, I think after second year no one wanted to get on her bad side" Fred said, remembering what she did in her second year to the ravenclaws.
"What class do we have first?" Ron asked, filling his plate, he was starting to get used to Dahlia's behavior. Dahlia, Hermione, Pansy and Daphne wrinkled their noses, watching the way he ate was starting to ruin their appetites. Dahlia leaned over, whispering something into Ron's ear that the other's couldn't hear. His mouth snapped closed, chewing more considerably, he turned to look at her for a moment, she smiled at him.
"What did you say?" Theo asked, curiously, even after all this time they still didn't know what she had told him, but it had worked. "I love having an older brother, but I will talk your ear off about the way you eat. Your a wizard, stop eating as like an animal" Ron Quoted, blushing briefly.
The group headed down to the potion's classroom entering the room first, "Phin, sit with Ron, Blaise sit with Vincent. Draco sit with Harry, Daphne, your with Neville. Mia, sit with pans, and I'll sit with Gregory" She said softly. She had briefly met Crabbe and Goyle when redoing Theo's room and knew they weren't the brightest, they kind of reminded her of one of the kid's at school before they came here. They weren't stupid they just needed help. Snape Barged in, the door hitting the wall as he stalked into the room, his cloak billowing behind him. "There will be no foolish wand-waving or silly incantations in this class. As such, I don't expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science and exact art that is potion-making. However, for those select few who possess, the predisposition... I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses. I can tell you how to bottle fame, brew glory, and even put a stopper in death." Snape drawled, looking over his class.
"Today you'll be attempting to make the cure for boils, the instructions are on the board began" Snape said gesturing to the board. Dahlia looked at the board for a moment, it was different than the potion's book but she felt their was more improvements she could make. "Greg can you get me these ingredients from the cupboard?" Dahlia asked handing a list over "ok" he mumbled as he stood up, Blaise caught on and had Vince help him as well.
