The light was just coming over the castle and the hour was almost up. Natalia could still feel the death in the air, but somehow, she knew that her friends and her had made a major difference.

She had gone to the Weasleys after helping a few people and Percy smiled at her, "I don't know who you are, but thank you for saving my brother."

Arthur, Molly, and the rest of the Weasley children looked at who Percy was talking to, "you– you save my boy?" Molly asked her and slowly Natalia nodded. Molly rushed forward, wrapping her arms tightly around the girl. She gave her a kiss on the check and Natalia was stunned, it almost felt like a hug from her own mother. "Thank you dear."

Arthur walked up and shook her hand, "thank you." Natalia shook his hand and nodded.

Ron just smiled at her, "come here," she hugged him. "I'm sorry for how we treated you at the beginning of fifth year, never thought you would end up saving our families one day," he laughed and Ginny nudged him.

"I always knew you were a badass," Ginny shrugged and Natalia chuckled.

"Right back at you," the child of Hades winked.

A little while had passed and the hour was up. A few people trickled outside as they saw the army of Death Eaters approaching. Natalia, Nico, and Leanne had their swords at the ready. They weren't letting this place fall without a fight.

Hagrid walked up front, carrying someone in his large arms. They walked over the bridge and closer to the castle when they stopped.

Voldemort passed Hagrid with a creepy smile, nagini hanging off of his neck like a scarf. "Harry Potter is dead. He was killed as he ran away, trying to save himself while you lay down your lives for him. We bring you his body as proof that your hero is gone.

"The battle is won. You have lost half of your fighters. My Death Eaters outnumber you, and the Boy Who Lived is finished. There must be no more war. Anybody who continues to resist, man, woman, or child, will be slaughtered, as will every member of their family. Come out of the castle now, kneel before me, and you shall be spared. Your parents and children, your brothers and sisters will live and be forgiven, and you will join me in the new world we shall build together."

There was silence in the grounds and from the castle.

"Come," said Voldemort, and Hagrid followed him, not being able to resist his commands.

"Harry," sobbed Hagrid. "Oh, Harry . . . Harry . . . "

The Death Eaters were running around, laughing joyfully as they walked over the bridge, "Stop."

The Death Eaters came to a halt, spreading out in a line facing the open front doors of the school.

It seemed as if no one could speak, like he had placed a spell on them

Then, the most heart wrenching sound came from a professor that Natalia had respected and adored.

"NO!" McGonagall screamed, breaking past the silencing spell. Bellatrix laughed happily at McGonagall's despair and Natalia glared at the witch in disgust.

The open doorway filled with people quickly, as the survivors of the battle came out onto the front steps to face their vanquishers and see the truth of Harry's death for themselves. They saw Voldemort standing a little in front of him, stroking Nagini's head with a single white finger.

"No!"

"No! "

"Harry! HARRY!"

Ron's, Hermione's, and Ginny's voices were worse than McGonagall's. It had felt familiar to Natalia. She had heard the same cries from Leanne when she saw Jace get hurt. She had screamed the same when she thought that Leo had died.
