Natalia had woken up the next morning with a tapping at the window. It was an owl. She got up and walked over to the window, opening it for the owl to fly open. She untied something attached to its leg and put it on the desk. She looked down to the desk and there were other packages on there from the following days. One from Draco, Pansy, Daphne, Theo, and Blaise. She pulled out the chair and sat down.

She ran her hand over them and picked up the one from Pansy. She slowly unwrapped the string when the owl rubbed his head on her hand and nipped at her. "Ow, okay," she reached over to a bag of treats that Blaise gave her for when they sent owls. She handed him some food and he chirped happily before going back to the window and flying off.

She went back to the present and took off the string and unwrapped the paper. Inside was a dark green blanket. On the corner was the slytherin emblem embroidered with her name under it. Natalia's lips turned upwards as she looked at it. It was the same as the others in her dorm, it was just like they were talking about at the beginning of the year.

She got up from her seat and spread it out on her bed before going and sitting back at the desk. She opened the one from Draco next. She carefully took off the paper to reveal a black velvet box with a card.

Written out in Draco's neat handwriting was a note.

Happy Christmas, Di Angelo,

This was something my mother had. She thought that every girl should have something like this for their ball, even if you aren't having one. Maybe I'll see you after break if you didn't die– or whatever you left so quickly for.

~ Draco L. Malfoy of the Ancient, Noble line of Malfoys.

She opened the box to a hair pin. It was silver with diamonds circled into a rose with emeralds as leaves. It was like her friend's– Leanne's. She hadn't seen her in quite some time. As soon as the first war ended she set off on a quest. Then the second war and she never came back. They had a funeral. When she did come back Natalia was on her own quest then she left again for another quest. It was just back and forth and they hadn't seen each other since they were 13. She placed it back in the box and closed it. She grabbed her jewelry box and placed it inside, next to her earrings. She grabbed Daphnes, it also came with a note.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS, NAT!!!

So, I noticed that the only clothes you had were either really worn and ripped or just not your style. Inside this box were some clothes that I found for you. I mixed in some reds, greens, and purples for you so that not everything is black and white. There might also be one or two browns and blues.

LOVE YOU

~Daphne A. Greengrass

Natalia opened the box to a bunch of shirts, skirts, a dress or two, a black jacket, and some heels. She turned next to Blaise's. It was a flat, square box. She took off the wrapping and opened the box and picked up the note.

Happy Christmas, Natalia,

This is something from my great aunt, Maria– the one that disappeared. She left it behind when she left for America. I thought you might like it. Have a good break. I can't wait to hear the story of why you left so early when you come back.

–Blaise M. Zabini

She looked at the box and gasped when she saw a necklace. She picked it up to see an Italian horn necklace. It was her mother's. She undid the clasp and wrapped it around her neck. She used to wear this necklace all the time. She thought to leave it behind in Italy since it would be easier to adapt in America if she didn't bring something that represented her Italian side.
