"okay, when she falls asleep, put her in my bed or a bed; whatever. just make sure she takes her nap. when she eats lunch there's leftover pasta in the fridge, just add butter and the parmesan cheese or whatever. do not, and I repeat do not, give her the soda in the fridge. annnnd...just let me know if you're going out and for how long. come visit if wanted. okay bye!" Dylann said as she gathered her phone and keys and some other things. she kissed Lyric good bye, then hugged me bye.

lyric was pretty happy, but sad that her mom was leaving for work. she turned to me when the door slammed shut, and locked.

"let go!" she cried as she grabbed my hand and ran for the art room. I don't think, who am I kidding its dylann's special room, dyl would like me touching her special paints and canvas'. she was even more protective of her 36 mm 1985 Canon camera, besides Lyric.

she had a shelf full of brushes in mason jars, squishy sponges (legit sponges from the oceans), and some other tools I didn't recognize. she empty canvas' were on a desk, in the corner. from spacing, I saw a giant one on just one wall. it had splatter marks and huge words on it.

The Demons Prefer Black, But My Wardrobe Screams Rainbow was written on the huge canvas. I didn't understand it, but who cares. the picture of a colorful city, with fairy lights hanging among the bay windows was showing me little space. the fairy lights were just small lines, with balls of yellow and orange.

"da. come see. I dew." lyric screeched pulling me over to some smaller canvas'. I saw a small one, with light blue then birds on it. another had a green background and a purple monster that reminded me of Eduardo from Foster House For Imaginary Friends. then one had pink background with whiskers and a heart nose.

"I draw!" she squealed.

"how pretty, I love it." I said. "we need to get you breakfast, baby."

"no breakkie! I wait!" she said as she toddled out of the room to the living room snatching up a remote. "I wa teh-veh!"

"no no no, Lyric. the same rules apply with me. same with mummy, same with me." I ordered.

"but I wan wiggles!" she screamed stomping her foot. "wiggles and puppy!" I am assuming wiggles means The Wiggles and puppy stands for Pound Puppies. but I couldn't stop her in time.

"how about this, you eat breakfast while watching the wiggles and pound puppies?" I suggested. her eyes lit up, and she nodded. I opened the pantry door, and saw the kiddie cereals. I chose cherios because they were my favorite and it was good for Lyric. I grabbed two bowls, poured a small amount in lyrics bowl then a large amount in mine. I poured the milk, grabbing two spoons and put away the milk. I sashayed my way over to Lyric, without spilling any cereal. she clapped and giggled, "da fun!" she chirped.

"eat up so we can go visit mommy and go to the park." I said. she nodded, taking her time as I loaded Pound Puppies onto the TV.

she kept eating and if she stopped I stopped the show and told her to eat and if she ate she could watch the tv. which happened very rarely. she finished and wanted to go see her mom.

"lyric, please behave when we are in there, okay?" I ordered. she nodded and stuck her finger in her mouth. I pushed open the door with my back, and a bell tinkled its music.

I found it quite cute, the small coffee shop. books aligned the walls, a tall counter with outlets, it had dim lighting and cosy chairs.

Dylann stood with her hands wrapped around a silver mug with her initials in it. she took frequent sips, laughing with a blond girl. the blond had black nails, along with galaxy earrings. I could see through the pastry shelves that the bold, confident blond wore light wash ripped all around jeans, and Spider-Man converse.
