Chapter 106: One More Time

*Amy's P.O.V*

It's the first event that I won't take part in.

It's another team event where it would be dojo versus another dojo. I actually really liked the first team event where we went up against Cobra Kai so if another one had to happen, I wanted to be a part of it but I can't. I'm with child. Eli's child. But even when I'm not fighting, I got into my karate gi so that people know who I'm representing. I'm going to cheer for my team and root for them. I have faith in them.

So there's another team event with Kenny taking my place. It feels weird to be fighting but I'm going to be strong. It's alright.

I had watched the Iron Dragons in their own fight against another dojo and of course, Axel completely dominated. He really is a skilled fighter and I am impressed. He meant business whenever he was fighting and when he wasn't fighting, he still looked so serious. It's sometimes hard to believe that it's the same person that I met on the beach. I just have to remember how his sensei treated him. Even Cobra Kai had their own fight too against a dojo.

Soon enough, it was time for Miyagi-Do's fight against Furia De Pantera.

I stood next to Johnny as the rest of my teammates got into a circle and Demetri went in first.

Demetri showed off his skills while fighting his opponent but it wouldn't take long for Eli to tell him to tag him in. Demetri dismissed him, telling him that he got it. It just went wrong before Demetri got kicked in the face and he fell to the ground.

Sam instantly got tagged in and she just went for it. She went for a couple of leg sweeps which would be dodged and she kept up a good fight before another opponent got tagged in. Sam and the other girl went back and forth with their skills before Sam kicked her in the leg, making her go down before she was able to score Miyagi-Do's first point with a punch to the side.

I cheered along with my senseis as they gained their first point. Then I saw Sam tag in Eli.

"Let's go, Eli!" I cheered for him.

Eli went for a kick right away but it got blocked and they had traded blows but not ones good enough to earn a point. I've heard Sam tell Eli to tag in Kenny, and even Kenny himself was asking for permission to go in. Then I could see Demetri telling him to not tag in Kenny. Oh my gosh, is this really happening?

"What are you doing? Tag in, Kenny!" Robby said, saying it loud enough for me to hear.

Then I watched as Eli tagged in Robby which caught him off guard. I sighed. They don't have good communication skills right now. I know Eli and Demetri are having a hard time trusting Kenny and probably didn't want him taking my spot but he is and they're gonna have to deal with it. Kenny is good for our team. They need to act like it.

Robby then got knocked off the ground because his teammates distracted him and then he got hit in the stomach. I flinched.

Poor Robby. He had to find some way to refocus even though he wasn't asking for this. He had said multiple times to Eli to tag in Kenny and he didn't. He kept up his speed pretty good and was about to tag in Miguel before his hand got kicked away. Then Robby got punched in the abdomen.

Damn it. They lost their fight.

I immediately went over to the team and they were already arguing.

"Eli, why didn't you tag in Kenny when you had the chance?" Miguel asked him.

"He just got here. You expect us to just trust him?" Eli pointed over to Kenny. I went over to Eli's side and put his hand down.

"Stop it." I said to him, trying to get him to calm down.
