This is the most empty I've seen mine and Sam's room ever be.

After Johnny's fight with Wolf, we did come back home to start packing because we will be moving away from the house in the next few days. Sam is heading to Okinawa tomorrow and then I'll be leaving for Pasadena a few days after her leaving. Most of our stuff has been packed, at least mine while Sam has packed a suitcase. I already know that she has packed the essentials.

But it was still weird to see. I've been a part of this room for over a year, almost two years and now we're going to be starting our own journeys. I won't see Sam for a year and she'll miss the birth of my baby. I'm not ready to say goodbye to her.

Sam and I have created many memories together since I've moved to the Valley. I stood by her side when Miyagi-Do was going up against Cobra Kai. I defended her against Tory while she was still dealing with PTSD. I fought Tory for her during the LaRusso house fight. Yeah, I still remember when Tory kicked down the front door.

She was there for me when I was dealing with the breakup that Eli and I had before junior prom and our first fight against each other at the All Valley. Then we spent a lot of time together during the summer where we didn't know if we wanted to continue karate but then did continue once Daniel got injured by Terry Silver.

Sometimes we wouldn't be on the same page but we always came back because we are cousins, we are each other's best friend.

A part of me wishes that I can go to Okinawa with her but I need to be with Eli while we prepare for the baby's arrival.

"It's hitting you too, huh?" I heard a voice. I turned around and there was Sam, in her pajamas and her hair was in a ponytail.

"It's weird." I let out a small chuckle. "You're going to be heading to Okinawa and I'm not ready to not be by your side. We did everything together."

"It'll be weird for a while but I'll still talk to you. I promise to call you every chance I get."

"We can't be getting emotional right now, we have to wait until we're at the airport."

Then it was her turn to let out a laugh and she did it even when her eyes started to get glossy.

"You really want to cry at the airport?" She asked.

I smiled. "I wouldn't want it any other way. For now, we should just enjoy ourselves because this will be the last night we'll share together as cousins."

"You do have a point." She smiled before she asked, "So what do we do?"

I gave her a smile before she was giving me a look as if she was curious to see what was up my sleeve.

Since it was evening time, we kept it simple. First, we ordered pizza and while we waited for it to arrive, we ended up braiding each other's hair and putting on nail polish. It'll dry by the time the food comes to our house. Especially since we have this contraption that will dry the nail polish in 90 seconds. We would laugh as we would share stories about memories we've made while I've been living with her family.

Then we'll even talk about memories from when we were younger and Alec would be with us as well. We've talked about the time when we all went to the water park and Alec had lost his bathing suit during the wavepool. Uncle Daniel had to bring Alec's towel to the edge of the pool and then make sure that no one was looking while he wrapped the towel around his waist. Luckily, the waterpark had a gift shop so my twin brother was able to get a new pair of swim trunks.
