*Eli's P.O.V*
Amy and I are still having problems just a week later. Her and I are barely exchanging words with one another and she's currently at a doctor's appointment to see how our baby is doing. I didn't want to miss this one because I like seeing our baby and hearing their heartbeat but I couldn't miss this early orientation.
Maybe I'll get some kind of update from her but I highly doubt she'll tell me anything because of how she's acting.
We don't even share a bed. I have been sleeping in the basement the past week and luckily, Demetri and I would be playing video games there so whenever I get tired, I can easily just lay my head on the pillow and I'm out like a light.
But I do wish Amy and I can get through this little hiccup and just focus on our future. We seriously need to or else our home won't be happy and it'll be toxic.
We need to get through our shit.
"So she's at the doctor's right now?" Demetri asked me.
"Yeah." I tell him as we walked outside the campus, seeing other potential students and classmates here. "But I haven't heard anything. I'm not surprised though."
Out of the corner of my eye, I can see Demetri's worried look. "Still not talking?"
My eyes became sad. "No."
"I'm sorry, Eli."
"It's fine."
Obviously it's not fine because Amy is my girlfriend and she's pregnant. I want to be able to talk to the baby and smile because it makes me happy knowing that there's a little human inside her stomach and soon, our baby will be here.
Maybe if I'm lucky, I'm able to get the truth out of her when I'm back home.
If that can't happen then I don't know what's next. I honestly can't tell you.
"Hey, you guys." We heard voices.
Demetri and I looked ahead to see two guys. One blonde, and one brown-haired. One looked like he had the same hair as Chad Danforth from High School Musical. Which I won't judge, that dude had really solid hair.
I could have hair like that but I like my mohawk. The color is still teal.
"Hi." Demetri gave a small smile but I can tell he's stuck. "Nice to meet you."
"You don't even know our names." The one with blonde hair said.
"He apologizes." I said, "My name is Eli and his name is Demetri. What's your name?"
"My name is Norman." The one with Chad Danforth hair said.
"And my name is Finn." The blonde guy said.
Demetri and I both smiled. We're just trying to be cool and not completely be awkward. Even though this thing happens, we just didn't expect it to happen to us because it always has been just the two of us. Do you get what I'm saying?
"Again, it's great to meet you." I said again.
Finn nodded. "Do you guys like to party?"
"Sure." Demetri nodded.
"We're literally the life of the party." I tell them.
