*Amy's P.O.V*
"I definitely looked into it." My uncle told me as we both entered the arena for the Sekai Taikai. It's time for the semifinals.
Sam will be going against Tory and Robby will be going against Axel.
"And what do you think?" I asked him.
"It looks promising." He nodded approvingly, "But I do want to make sure that it's perfect so when we get back home, we'll look at the apartment."
I had a very late conversation with my uncle last night before I really went to bed. After the talk with Sam, I texted him about me possibly moving out of his house soon so that Eli and I have a place for when our baby arrives. I know I shouldn't be thinking about this so early into the pregnancy but it needs to be done. Eli and I want to have our own place before the baby is here.
"Demetri was the one that showed us pictures of the apartment." I explained, "Eli and I do like what we see so far but we want to see it up close."
"And you will, I promise."
"Does it make you sad?" I asked, "How I'm going to be moving out of your house soon?"
He smiled wholeheartedly, "It'll be weird, that's for sure. You've been at our house for over a year now. I'm used to hearing you and Sam talk so loudly to each other. I'll definitely miss it."
"I'll still be around, Uncle Daniel. You're not getting rid of me so easily."
"I wouldn't want to, Amy."
Gunther, who's the host of the tournament, was talking into a microphone but my dojo and I were too busy preparing our two semifinalists one more time before their fight.
I stood next to Eli as my uncle was on the other side of me while Sam and Robby were hyping each other up with some kind of technique that I have no idea about. I'm not going to question it at all.
"Did you talk to your uncle?" Eli asked from beside me.
I turned to my boyfriend. "Yeah, I talked to him. He said we'll look into it once we go back home."
"That's good. Demetri would sometimes bring it up ever since he mentioned it even though that was only yesterday."
"What would I bring up?" Demetri joined the conversation.
"The apartment you've been showing us." Eli tells his binary brother.
"It's a good apartment." Demetri defended himself, "I'm helping you guys out."
"And we appreciate it." I said with a smile.
It wasn't until the first semifinal match started where it was Kwon versus Diego. Even when we're supposed to be paying attention, I didn't feel like it. I just wanna pay attention to my own dojo.
"Are you guys nervous?" I asked Sam and Robby.
"Not that nervous." Sam tells me, "I have a butterfly or two but I know I can do this. I'm ready."
She appears more confident after our talk last night and that makes me glad. She just needed the encouragement.
"And you?" I turned to Robby.
"I'm ready. I don't back down from a fight."
I nodded, approving of his answer. I'm nervous either way for that fight but I'll continue to support. I'm sure it'll be great.
It wasn't long before Kwon won his match against Diego by a knockout. I hate to admit it but it was impressive. And then it was announced that Zara's match with Maria will be next. Sam and Robby's fights are getting closer by the minute.
