*Amy's P.O.V*
"Amy, I'm so glad you're here." My uncle said as he saw me walk through the LaRusso Auto dealership and then gave me a hug.
"Hi, Uncle Daniel." I greeted him back once we pulled away from our hug.
"Hey, Eli." My uncle patted my boyfriend on the back. "Glad you're here as well."
"Thank you for having me." Eli smiled at him and then put his arm around my shoulder.
"I made sure to stash some apple and orange juice because pretty much everyone else will be having champagne. You guys enjoy yourselves."
Eli and I both nodded at what my uncle said before he went to be with Amanda, Anoush, and cousin Louie.
We are at the celebration for LaRusso Auto. I know how happy my uncle is with me being here and bringing Eli along. Now we can somewhat have a night to have some fun and be with some of our favorite people. I'm wearing this floral skirt with a long sleeve shirt that's kind of the color of light gray. I'm not entirely sure what color it is but the outfit looks cute in my opinion. Then for my hair, it's just braids on top before it turns into two ponytails. My hair is already curly because it's similar to Sam's so curls are at the ends of my hair.
"Do I look okay?" I asked Eli.
He took in my appearance before smiling. "You look beautiful."
We shared a quick kiss with each other before we were ambushed by Sam, Miguel, and Robby.
"You guys do know this is a public place." Sam teased us with a smile on her face.
"PDA is very old school, did you guys know?" Robby continued the teasing.
Eli chuckled. "Yeah, right!"
"They're in love, who knows?" Miguel said before he gave me a hug. "How are you, Amy?"
"I'm doing well. It's been tiring lately but all good."
Miguel nodded while he and Eli did their bro handshake. "That's good to hear. Is pregnancy kicking your ass?"
"Not really." I shook my head. "Morning sickness is there every now and then. But Eli has been a huge help."
"Look at you, bro." Miguel smiled at my boyfriend.
"I would do anything for her so I try my best in every way I can."
I patted Eli on his shoulder. "You're doing a fantastic job."
"Are there any predictions for the gender?" Robby asked.
Eli answered on behalf of both of us. "We don't really have a preference. We just want a healthy baby. We'll be fine with either gender, boy or girl."
"Anthony and I have talked about it a little bit." Sam joined in the conversation. "He wants it to be a boy so that he can teach him all kinds of video games."
"I'm not surprised by that." I laughed. "And I know you want it to be a girl."
"I mean, we don't have a lot of girl cousins."
Sam isn't wrong. We don't have a lot of girl cousins. It's like Sam and I are some of the cousins who are girls and then the rest are boys. But the two of us are lucky to have each other if we didn't want to be around a crowd of boys who are either playing baseball or basketball.
"It'll be cool if your kid got into karate." Miguel said with a laugh which made everyone else laugh but me.
Just once I want karate to not be mentioned. Why does it always have to be brought up? I know it's a hobby to all of us, or maybe not just a hobby but something we want to make a living on but I'm not asking for much. I don't want to talk about it. And plus, how can Miguel talk freely about the sport after what happened in Barcelona? It's like they forgot what happened.
