After my talk with Axel, I immediately went to go and get ready for the next event because that's literally coming up soon. It made a lot of sense as to why Axel had to get going because his team needed him. And I need to be there for my team too.

"I talked to him." I said to Sam right away as we were in the arena.

She looked at me in confusion. "Who?"

"The guy from earlier." I said, "The one who was getting hit by his sensei."

"Oh, him. And how did it go? Did the conversation go anywhere? Did he tell you anything about what happened?"

"Not really." I answered, honestly. "It was a fast conversation. But when we were talking and when he walked away, it made me know that he's not a bad person. I think he just feels certain feelings and he's going through a lot. The world must be tough for him."

"Yeah, that I could believe." Sam said, agreeing with what I said.

We were with the rest of the team and it does make me want to tell Eli about how I had a conversation with Axel. I just want to be honest with him and not let him think otherwise. I love Eli and I do want to spend the rest of my life with him. So I will tell him what happened when I was getting some fresh air. Even though it was just a two minute conversation, I will still tell him.

An announcer started to talk, "We have now entered the elimination phase of the Sekai Taikai. The dojos who do not win tonight will be headed home. The previous rounds have determined your current rankings. The number one team will face the number 16 team. The number two team will face the number 15 team and so on."

As the announcer was talking, I took a look at the board to do the math. I figured it out in a second. "Okay, that means at number 12, we're facing number 5, Dublin Thunder."

"Oh, great." Eli said, "I heard they started a fight last night with some locals at the beach. They're always looking for a brawl."

We are again facing a dojo on a platform and it's much higher than the last one. Luckily, there's padding. And only two members at once. We're supposedly supposed to fight until all of our members have fought. So once one of us has been out, another one of our members takes our place.

Sam and I watched as the Iron Dragons were up on the platform first against another dojo. We saw Axel. I knew his name and she doesn't but that doesn't matter. We both saw what happened with his sensei so either way we both felt bad for him. I was right though, he stands on business. Even when he's vulnerable behind the scenes, he doesn't show it when he's fighting.

The Iron Dragons won their whole fight.

"Was this dude made in a lab?" Eli asked.

"He's like a mix between the Winter Soldier and Frankenstein's monster." Demetri said.

"Don't call him a monster." I said.

Sam joined in too, "You don't know him or what he deals with."

I saw Axel take a look at me as he was observing the crowd but he was also staring at Sam too. He remembers her as well.

Next we had to watch Cobra Kai fight. It doesn't seem right to be seeing Tory fighting on their team. It's weird to see. Even though she has been in the dojo before, it doesn't seem to fit her anymore. I don't know what she's entirely thinking because I have only talked to her once since we've been here but I want to take a guess that she's struggling and she's doing a good job at hiding it. She looks like a beast on that platform and it does make me wish that she's a part of our team.
