Following the harrowing battle with the Midngeworthys in 1865 - where Blame took control since Bryce did not care about the looming apocalypse and Bobby didn't want to touch British people - preventing them from altering American history, Blame, Bryce, and Bobby returned to their present.
The world should have been the same as it was before Blame lost the time machine at the beach in 2018, so Blame frantically checked the tattoo on his arm, hoping that it was the one thing that stayed different. However, the sissy, gay-ass tattoo morphed into the black gang symbol Blame had before he fucked with time. "Damn, all that for nothin', player," he whined, while mentally cursing his childhood self for his lack of sense when choosing their tattoo.
"But it wasn't for nothing, Blame." The voice startled Blame until he remembered Phone Elmer existed. He pulled his phone from his back pocket and made eye contact with the screen. "Look around you," Phone Elmer ordered, waiting until Blame obeyed before continuing. "Not a single green face in sight. We did what we said we'd do, Blame. We've prevented the apocalypse before it started," pride seeped from Phone Elmer's voice.
"Yes, we did," Bryce said despite not helping in the slightest. "Our job is done. Come along, Bobby. We're going home."
Just as she finished speaking, a siren blared, throwing the world into chaos once again.
"Yo, I think you spoke too soon, dawg," Blame told Phone Elmer, before reacting quickly, ducking behind a nearby parked car and gesturing for Bryce and Bobby to join him. Seeking refuge from the panicked crowd rushing through the streets, they huddled tightly, squishing Blame between their bodies. "Yo, I don't understand, dawg," Blame whispered to Phone Elmer, wracking his brain for where they had gone wrong. "We did everything' we was s'posed to. Why we back where we started?"
"We don't have time to worry about that now, Blame," Phone Elmer answered. "We must get to safety. You're near the bunker. You and Bryce go straight there."
"Don't tell me what to do, brother."
"Go back to the bunker," Phone Elmer repeated with an edge to his voice.
"Alright," Blame agreed. "But I still don't know whatever the fuck a "bunker" is." Tucking his phone into his pocket once again, he ignored Phone Elmer's faint shouts. "What about you, dawgs? Are you comin' with me like Phone Elmer said to?" The question was directed at Bryce and Bobby, who were so horny they were two seconds away from fucking in the street.
"No, you're poor," Bryce responded. "We'll be at Bobby's evil lair, escaping the new apocalypse and making up for lost time."
"Oh." Blame hung his head, disappointment was evident in the furrow between his eyebrows. Although Bryce was a raging bitch and Bobby was a horny bastard, a connection formed between them during their short time together. Or at least Blame thought so. Having been hoping they would stick with him until the end, he was sad to see them leave. "I guess this is goodbye," he said after a few seconds.
"It is," Bryce said, callously brushing off Blame's feelings. With a curt nod, she turned on her heel, dragging Bobby along with her. Bobby wiggled his fingers at Blame in a flirtatious wave as he obediently followed her.
"Stop her!" Phone Elmer yelled from Blame's pocket. "Bryce Tankthrust is still my prisoner!"
Watching Bobby pull Bryce close and nuzzle her neck as they strutted away, Blame shook his head. "Nah, fam. I ain't doin' shit." They deserved happiness after the mess that was their childhood.
"Stop her," Phone Elmer repeated.
"No. Shut the fuck up." Blame smacked his pocket in warning to Phone Elmer. He wasn't against tossing the phone down a drain and being done with Phone Elmer's attitude, but unfortunately, he needed the fucker for directions.
