When the bus stops, I wake up with a jolt. I peer around in my surroundings and realize I'm still on the couch. It's not morning anymore, I guess.

Daniel wanders by, telling me to get ready. Another show today.

I sigh before getting off this damn couch. I should probably tell Kylie something... I feel kinda bad about what happened...

But when I walk to the kitchen to get a last toast before the show, I see her. Kylie is walking around the kitchen, cooking?!
I stop by, blinking my eyes a few extra times at the vision. Never have I imagined Kylie cook! She's stirring in a pot and then gazes up at me with a grin. Her wavy hair is in a ponytail, which she almost never have.

"Hi," she beams, "Cooking for y'all so you'll have something to eat after the show."

I pace towards her with a smirk, raising an eyebrow.
"I never knew that you could cook?"

"I had to learn eventually, or who knows what." she chuckles.

"Or who knows what"? This girl surely is a big mystery...

"Oh," I respond, thinking what to say next, "What you cookin'?"

"Some bulgarian lentil soup, but I got a few other things planned. Y'all eat meat too much!"

There's a warning clock ringing somewhere in my mind. Kylie doesn't use "y'all" that much...

I take a close look at her. She seems ok...

"It smells great, but we were going to eat at this restaurant that is famous for Denver." I remark.

Immediately she stops. She glances at me first, fixing her The Offspring beanie and then turns off the stove. Kylie sighs.
"Of course, sorry."

"No, no, no! It's ok! You didn't know."
"Ok then..."

Wayne steps into the kitchen, awkwardly.

"Hey, we'll have to go soon." he mumbles.
"I'm coming."

He gazes up at Kylie.

"Ehm, Kylie?"
"Yeah?"
"Sorry about earlier... I shouldn't had pushed you and being a general douchebag like that."

Kylie sweeps away her dead black bangs from her eyes. Sighing a bit.

"It's ok now. Thanks."

"Ok then..."

"Hey, dude! It's time." Platz calls.

I kiss her cheek, mumbling a goodbye before exiting the bus.

The guys and I are wandering around the streets, since it's like an half hour until sound check.

"So how's she doing?" Dan asks to break the silence.

"I think she's fine. I mean, maybe a little shaken up, but otherwise, fine." I sigh, shrugging my shoulders.

"Hm." they mumble in unison.

I exhale tiredly before stepping in front of them, stopping our walk.

"Hey guys, I'm serious. I don't wanna mess this up with Kylie. I know she's a little, ehm, at a bad place. But I think I can fix this! For all I know, she's really important to me. I want her to stay that way... please understand..."

They nod for a second, before Wayne opens his mouth.

"Ben, we understand. We do...but she needs help. However, you two clearly won't listen, so we'll let you figure it out on your own. How about that?" he suggests.
