"The saddest part isn't that we never talk,

It's that we used to talk every day."

Michelle and Eli sat in the school hallway goofing off with the rest of Cobra Kai before class as a bothered Miguel passed by them, making eye contact with Eli and avoiding Michelle's.

Neither Eli nor Michelle had wanted to vocalize their thoughts regarding what took place the other night at Johnny's makeshift dojo. They simply continued on as if it never happened and avoided those who needed to be avoided (A.K.A Miguel).

While Eli's expression remained blank and void of emotion in accordance with his red hawk bad boy phase, Michelle's thoughts ran wild with the words that were said to her, or yelled at her the previous night at the Diaz household.

Last Night

Michelle climbed out of the black jeep and made her way to the front door, Eli trailing behind her. As she reached into her bag and grabbed the key to the apartment, Eli pulled her into him and lifted her chin so that she was looking up at him.

He just took the moment to admire her.

"What?" Michelle asked softly.

Eli chuckled lightly and smiled down at her. "Nothing. You're perfect."

Their lips connected just as the door of the apartment slammed open and an angry Miguel could be seen standing at the door. He looked between the two and shoved past them with a garbage bag in his hands.

"Well, that's my cue," Eli said, embracing his girlfriend in a tight hug before turning on his heel and heading back to his car before Miguel came back from the dumpster.

"Goodnight Eli, "Michelle yelled after him.

"Goodnight my love," he yelled back before pulling off.

Michelle headed inside and made her way into her room only to be followed by Miguel. A Miguel who had not spoken to her since she showed up to his new dojo with Kreese. Not that she cared.

"What the hell is going on with you?" he yelled.

Michelle turned to look at him confused since he had been playing the silent game with her specifically.

"Excuse me?" she asked. Her anger was already rising at the sheer audacity of the dude.

"You heard me! What the hell are you doing with Cobra Kai and parading around with the 'King Cobra'?!"

"They're my friends...and they're your friends too. As a matter of fact, "King Cobra" is your best friend or did you forget?"

"Not anymore they're not. Not when they're acting like this."

Miguel could tell that he had struck a nerve and there was no way to turn back. Her eyes went cold and she stepped towards him menacingly, further proving his point. but he wouldn't back down. Not from his sister.
