Chapter 29

Akala ko sa conference room ang deretso namin dahil dun naman ang usual na meetings nila ng mga kasosyo niya. Pero iginiya kami ng lalaking secretary ni Ashton  sa isa pang room na ngayon ko lang nalaman. As soon as we entered the meeting room, bigla akong napatigil sa paglalakad.

There, standing in the middle of the room is two of the people I never expected to meet again. Victoria and Veronica.

Surprised is an understatement. They seemed to expect to see me dahil wala namang gulat na rumishestro sa mga mukha nila.

"Mister Bjorne." Victoria approached us and extended her right hand to Ashton.

"Miss Cuenca." Ashton acknowledged her and accepted her hand.

Veronica was behind her twin sister at inilahad din ang kamay kay Ashton na tinanggap naman ng isa.

Both looked at me and extended their hands to me.

"Hi, Molly. It's nice seeing you again." Victoria smiled at me.

Although hesistant, tinanggap ko ang kamay niya. It was just a brief moment dahil mabilis ko din binawi iyon.

Ganun din ang ginawa ko kay Veronica.

They were looking at me like nothing happened. That we almost didn't scratch each other's faces a few weeks ago.

And the text. I forgot about the text and phone call i received from Victoria. I'm still curious as to what she wants to say or what she wants from me.

"Congratulations on your wedding, by the way!" Veronica exclaimed happily.

"I'm so happy for the both of you." Victoria chimed as well.

I almost rolled my eyes to both of them pero mabuti nalang napigilan ko. Although hindi halata, alam kong labas sa ilong ang pag-bati nila.

It's been years pero somehow, I still know them. I don't know.

"Thank you. I've sent an invite to your family already. Have you seen it?" Ashton asked.

"Oh, yes! That's why we're here as well aside from talking business with you."

"Of course. And after this meeting, if you have nothing else to do, I would like to invite you to our home. We have prepared rooms for our guests." Ashton said as he walks toward the seats in the middle of the room. Sa gitnang upuan siya umupo at dahil hawak niya ang kamay ko ay sa kaliwang upuan naman ako naupo. Ang dalawa ay sa kanang bahagi kaya kaharap ko sila.

Hindi ko maitago sa mukha ko ang pagkadisgusto sa kanila. I looked at their faces. Trying to read what they're thinking. And ofcourse, wondering why they decided to attend the wedding.

Is Blaine gonna be here too? I hope not. The audacity of these siblings to come to my wedding. Kahit naman ayaw ko sa kasal na to, the fact that I hate these people, means I don't want them to be a part of any events in my life. Good or bad.

Minsang nagtatama ang mga mata naming tatlo pero mabilis din namang bumabalik kay Ashton ang atensyon nila.

Sa duration ng meeting nila, para akong bingi na walang naririnig. Besides, i couldn't care less about what they talk about. Hindi naman ako interesado sa business. I am Ashton's breeding woman now. My only job is to get fcked and get pregnant. Give birth to Ashton's children as many as I possibly can.

Kinakatakot ko pa, once malaman ni Ashton na umiinom ako ng pills, na paubos nadin naman, baka mas higpitan niya pa ako. Lalo na at may appointment na kami sa OB ko next week. He wants to know kung may laman na ba ang tyan ko.

Sana hindi na siya sumama sa akin. Makiki-usap ako sa OB na wag nang sabihin kay Ashton ang tungkol sa pills. Baka mabugbog na naman ako at sa sex na naman ibunton ang galit.
