Sapphire and Luna split my chores today to allow me some rest. “Raven…” I mumbled his name. As soon as I called out to him his shadowy form appeared.

“I shouldn't have shown you. You are too pure. Andrew is too dangerous to take on. An army will just be a bigger target.” He mumbled as he sat next to me in the cold cave. I lay huddled in my blanket.

I looked at the entrance. I didn't want everyone to over hear me. “If an army is too big of a target what should I do?” I mumbled. I looked up at Raven. I needed his guidance.

“My advice is to not even attempt to fight him. But I doubt that you will listen to that.  So instead If you want to take him on it needs to be solo. Next fight I'll teach you how to fight quickly and silently.” Raven rested a hand on my head. “Get some rest. Judging from how everyone's wounds are healed, they should have a tournament tomorrow.”

I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep. It was unrestful but I slept. I woke up feeling groggy and slow. I yawned and saw everyone except Luna asleep. Luna wasn't even in the cave. I panicked and quickly left the cave.

I saw her sitting outside of the metal grate with a wistful expression. I came and sat beside her. “The stars are so beautiful. I can't wait to show you how beautiful they are back at camp.” she smiled softly. The smile broke my heart. I knew there was a good shot I wouldn't make it.

I knew she would stop me if I told her my plan. So I just smiled and nodded. She rested her head on my shoulder.

“I was always a night owl. Even before I did this…” she glanced down at her hands. I wrapped my arms around her.

“You are still you through. It doesn't matter what form you're in.” I smiled. We looked up at the stars. “Do you know any constellations?” I asked, hoping to distract her.

Her face lit up and her tail wagged happily. I smiled as she excitedly pointed out constellations and specific stars. Even if most of them were hidden by light pollution she still managed to find a good number of them.

“And that one's venus.” she pointed to the brightest light one." She leaned against me. I blushed. Venus is aphrodite. Goddess of love. I blushed as I remembered one of the things I had read.

“I thought Venus was a planet.” I said trying to get my emotions under control. She giggled. Gosh why is she so precious?

“It is silly. But we can also see it because the clouds on it reflect a lot of sunlight so it ends up looking like a star.” she explained. “She is also the Roman interpretation of aphrodite.” she said the last one in a teasing tone. My face flushed and I looked away to keep her from noticing. She giggled at my reaction.

I must've fallen asleep again because I was waking up to Luna chatting with Cobalt. When I opened my eyes I was staring up at her face. That's when I noticed my head was in her lap. I quickly sat up as I ruffled my feathers. My face was slightly red. Rain smirked at me from behind Cobalt.

“Get ready sleeping beauty, we have a match in a few minutes!” Sapphire yelled at me from the pond where she was mending a few arrows.

I quickly got up and scrambled to grab my spear. “Raven you ready?” I asked him. His smoke-like form appeared beside me.

“Of course.” Luna noticed me supposedly talking to Raven. She trotted over.

“Where is he?” she asked since she couldn't see him. I pointed to Raven. “Hi Raven I missed you!” she smiled before walking up to the gate. We all lined up as the gate opened. We stepped out once it was open.
