"come on, calum. i'd get your face all smashed up if you don't shoot that fucking target." wolf said, her voice still different from the usual. the fact that she didn't go to sleep last night, she still had a very low energy.

"it'd be a pleasure to get my face all mashed up by you, wolf." calum felt something horrible when he saw everything, the way wolf cried, she did have a heart, too. the way she stood up for herself, she did have self-respect too. there was something different about wolf that calum adored.

"what, asshole?" the girl asked, shaking her head and watching calum miss the target, once again.

she slapped her forehead with her palm and took a deep breath, "holy shit, calum, you're the worst one i've had so far."

calum pulled a weird face as she told him this and then they went back to training again.

for a week, they've been stuck in the shooting portion, other newbies had already passed that stage and calum hadn't. they spent days and days on that park but calum still didn't get it.

wolf felt something inside her that told her to strive and teach the boy enough because hell knows what would happen if he didn't pass anything. she knew exactly what would happen.

on the second week of training, wolf finally decided to temporarily skip the shooting lesson since calum couldn't do better. leaving the park, the two ran their way to an old bridge.

"what are we doing-"

wolf jumped from the bridge, landing safely at the top of a bullet train, calum turned pale. in fact, he didn't know what to do.

he was quite startled and he didn't think well. he waited there for an hour or two before wolf showed up, in her usual look.

"i thought you were dead, wolf."

"that is a big mistake, mr. calum. because we are deathless people." wolf proudly said, her love for profoundly words was developed at a very young age. she enjoyed reading and writing poetry, it was something that shaped her soul.

calum pouted, understanding what she meant, but what if he wasnt good enough? it's been a whole week and he didn't even know how to shoot a fucking paper target.

"calum, i want you to jump."

"what?!"

"jump, on three."

"what?!"

"one, two, three- holy fuck, calum!"

wolf was devastated, she thought it would be the last day that she'd ever see her trainee. the idiot jumped after three and not on three.

with calum on her arms like a fucking baby, she went back, carrying him to the healing chamber.

"what happened, wolf?" fox asked, her head cocked on the side, beside her was luke.

"long story, he was about to jump but he did after three not on three. holy fuck, i thought i lost him." wolf explained, clicking her tongue.

"i'm so sorry, he finds it hard to understand directions, especially on panicking occasions. would he be fine?" luke asked with a sheepish smile, he was dead worried about his friend when he saw him lying unconscious.

"he'd be alright. but he has to stay here for a day or two though," niall explained, carrying a candle over the the parrafin bath tub in which calum was in.

"can he even breathe there?" luke questioned as he received identical blank looks from the three. ,
