everything was crashing, wolf and calum were rushed to the hospital by four stressed boys, each one of them carrying heavy hearts with fear.

but for calum, it was very different. these guys didnt know what it felt like to have someone who didnt give a damn about her face and her hair. someone who didn't- someone who didn't-

calum was too worried he didn't think of anything but wolf, he remembered the last thing he told her about frosty, 'he's always in our hearts'

that had struck him to cry his eyes out, he didn't care if zayn or harry or niall called him gay or weak for crying. he was too sad to care.

he was struck by the fact that he might be saying that to himself in any moment.

aside from the loud heartbeats, calum heard the sound of the wheels of the medical emergency bed he was lying in and his eyes focused on wolf who was closing her eyes with a few blood on her nose.

he closed his eyes while constantly reminding himself to stay awake, he heard death calling and everything was just darkness.
"he's soooo cute but i feel so sad for him. where is his mom? or his sister? why is he alone? i hope his father is looking for him. oh calum, let's take care of that bird, we'll name him wafer, we'll feed him everyday and we'd-"

opening his bloodshot eyes, he went out of the room, he searched for niall, zayn, harry and michael, he watched the doctor shook his head and bowed down to zayn, niall and harry. what did it mean? he ran over to them only to see their sadness-filled eyes. the doctor repeated the sentence, "we did everything. i'm sorry."

calum felt the weight of the entire universe fell off his shoulder, his heart was beating so loud everything was like the movies- he couldn't hear anything or see anyone else but only hear wolf's voice and see her face.

"you didn't do a fuck!" zayn yelled, pointing his index finger to the doctor, rudely.

harry and niall held back the tears as they walked with zayn, leaving calum who was crying.

he couldn't say anything, he felt like he didn't have a voice or a tongue. there was something that disabled him to move or speak. something deep.

he was frozen, he couldn't think straight. everything was like slow-motion and the only thing he could possibly hear was his loud heartbeat.

when he got out of the hospital, he walked in the rain still in his green medical gown, tears flushing down in synced with the raindrops and again, it reminded him of wolf-running and dancing badly in the rain. 'come on, asshole, dance with me!'

this made his tears rush down even more, to think that wolf was gone and everything else was just a memory to let go of. he couldn't live in a world without wolf. god knows he couldn't.

as he walked alone, he was regretting every move he made, he should've explained everything to wolf and convinced her to get her black dot deactivated, then they'd settle down and get married, have little kids and-

unconsciously, he was hitting his head with his bare hands, he liked the feeling of it-he liked the feeling of the different kind of hurt.

he thought he should've died too. why did he have to live? why did wolf have to save his life?

the beeps of the cars didn't even enter his ears as he continued to walk in the rain.

the truth is, there was no sense in living his life anymore-wolf was his reason, why he was breathing or waking up every morning. he was just living to witness her smile.

but sadly, wolf wasn't there anymore, no one could flash a smile as wolf could do. no one could kiss calum as wolf could do.

there was no one else like wolf. and that was the reason why calum and the others was grieving over her, no one else had her eyes. no one else had her laugh or her sense of humor.

there was no one else.
